Ok so been a browser / lurker here for a while and have a few thoughts you may agree or disagree but that's the way of the world.

The Reece Oxford loan if it goes through COULD be a good piece of business if we at least attempt what Celtic did with Patrick Roberts and try to ensure a decent loan period. I reckon 12-18 months if possible. I'd offer more guarantees of playing time in total if we managed to get longer.

I like MW and his vision, this doesn't mean I agree with him wholeheartedly! Our striker (s) are often coming too deep. Our passing and movement can be great but passing without penetration is pointless. I do believe our youth seems to be taking a step in the right direction (about time, and time will tell)

Now I get to a point no doubt some of you may have an issue with but hey ho, Halliday and holy are not rangers quality, served us well but they have to be on the replace for next season list.

Anyone and I am a rangers fan remember but anyone who thought we would come up and instantly compete or win are delusional or at least biased beyond logic. We need to get 2nd build and improve. The most worrying thing about that is that I don't think MW is entirely sure of who or what to build around.

We need an out and out RM/ RAM who can beat his man and produce (too often we turn back or hit a cross to nobody) we need an out and our anchor man / defensive ball winning midfielder and a true goal scorer. Let's face the fact you could swap the full back four there is nothing great there.

Think we missed out on 1 with Coulibaly would rather have spent 1M on him than what we did on garner, he proved he can produce at this level and was relatively young would have liked him.

I expect a few to to totally disagree or disagree to a point that's fine though that is my opinion.

Also we need Ashley out and money in ASAP

Agree with a lot of what you have said but i think one of the main reasons we struggle on the riggt is tav, i think he trys too hard to be a winger and not a defender, then when we ply hodson he releases the winger erlier amd let's them run at his man

I didn't expect us to win the title but to be so far behind is the most worrying aspect. We are miles behind and the gap is only going to go one way. We have spent a lot more money than Aberdeen and Hearts yet we aren't any better than either.

You talk about MW vision. Is part of that to continually pick centre halves who keep making the same mistakes? Under him we are far too easy to score against and you go to every game now expecting to concede. Halliday and Holt are clearly not good enough yet play week in week out whereas some players get dropped after 1 poor performance. It's clear we need and out and out goal scorer but again MW has failed to address this and it's a bad day when a team like Kilmarnock can unearth one and we can't with far superior resources. It's astonishing that not 1 of our players are in the top 10 league goal scorers and players like Callum Paterson has scored more league goals.

The thing that kills me is, even with the worlds best striker, he would be struggling to hit double figures in our team, as the service from midfield and the formation are rubbish.

Australian-ranger, that's why emerson hyndman has been brought in on loan! This young playmaking midfielder has the killer ball in him and will create chances for our strikers! So will jon toral of course. Warbs must start hyndman and it doesn't matter who's to drop out for to accommodate hyndman! All i know is we have to start this young fella! He's a tremendous young midfield talent! I wish we could get him for an 18 month loan deal!
