I don't get the warburton needs time supporters on here. Only 2 players left in team from previous management and that is Wallace and miller.

Full year and a half and his formation is predictable, his subs are predictable and his after the game comments are predictable

Rodgers been there 5 month still using previous management team apart from 2 or 3 players and not lost a game all season. It's not time needed it's change or the gap shall just get bigger.

Mate read that back. Warburton only has 2/ 3 players of the current squad so what 20 odd new players? Since he took over, Rodgers walked into a team and made 2/ 3 signings and is flying not exactly a massive reshuffle warburton has had to deal with? So do you think we should still have law and Sheils and Nicky Clark and we'd be competing for first now?

No mate. But it's his team his players his tactics. How long do you need with players? Always expected celtic to win the league but not one person on here can say they expected to be 16 possible 19 points behind at xmas.

Fair enough I agree that if you look at the points we dropped minus the Celtic and hearts away games we should have been good enough to take the 3 points maybe been looking a bit more rosey points wise but doesn't help that Celtic have had their best start since o neill was manager.

The problem is the quality of players at Warburton's disposal and the finance available to improve the team. He has been unlucky with injuries. Crooks, Rossiter, Krancjar and Windass would surely all have been starters ahead of guys like Halliday and Holt and although it is only guess work that they would have been any better, quite frankly they could not have been any worse.

As a squad we are currently missing at least four, possibly five, top quality players that would start games every week. We have failed to build a solid spine and that is where we are suffering the most although neither of our fullbacks are out and out defenders. Unfortunately there are not a lot of Porini's about these days and we seem incapable of scouting players outside of the UK!

We are now playing for second and that is certainly not a given with the current (fit) playing staff. I personally believe that we need three players in January, two central midfield players and a proper striker. If any players, for example Kiernan are transferred then they will also need to be replaced. We should be looking for at least two more Pre-contract signings at least English Championship quality and to put it bluntly, the Board needs to find the investment to make it happen!
