Was reading a few posts and it got me thinking about our league. I know this is kinda hypothetical but there's been chat for a while now about increasing the size of our league. So I was thinking about the clubs you would consider Premier League clubs (or at least clubs that would thrive)
Let's say the Premier League would go to 16 teams, I've picked in my opinion the 16 most prepared clubs for a premier league.

Rangers, Celtic, Hibs, Hearts, Dundee, Dundee Utd, St Johnstone, Motherwell, Ross County, Aberdeen, ICT, Kilmarnock, Hamitlon, Falkirk, Raith Rovers, Dunfermline.

Would any of you guys have different teams?

Being honest I think that some teams close to each other should merge into one team would maybe take 5 or 6 thousand fan base and possibly double it. Never happen like but just a thought.

You kidding on? Hibs are obviously an SPFL team as well as the likes of Dundee United complete bias to your own agenda what's the point in making a post like this? "Lets try and do our best to talk down clubs that have nothing to do with us anymore, first I'd like to suggest three teams no where near SPFL quality instead of 2 of the biggest clubs in Scotland because I'm a Rangers fan" You're embarrassing me.

Rangers and Celtic would not want the league to be made bigger as they like having 4 old firm games each season. It also makes it an easier sell to broadcasters when they are negotiating TV deals.

Perhaps I have misread holy 78's post. He said that these two clubs have been included, the inference being that they should have been omitted. Personally I would rather see both Hibs and Dundee United completely out of Scottish Football. hearts and Dundee to represent their Cities and the fans of the other lot can travel to the East End of Glasgow!

Just incase there is any confusion. I DO think Hibs and Dundee Utd are clubs with the set up and infrastructure to be SPL clubs. Regardless of their current league.
