I have to say it again but I take my hat off to Simon Grayson regarding the Garner transfer. The way in which he has acted is fantastic. They didn't have to sell but let the player choose. Some managers really need to take note.

You need a reality check. He's acted in the perfect way in front of the media it doesn't mean he's happy with him moving or wants him to move. No manager wants to lose there best players regardless so why should they take note? Should they take note and get better media training or should they take note and sell there best players or what? This is real life and players to many clubs are just assets and there's that much money involved it doesn't matter. But yes I'm sure all the managers going through there different scenarios and situations unique to each club should take note and just allow there players to be sold when every circumstance and transfer is completely different. What you mean is they should take note and if Rangers put a bid in let them go that's what you really mean. Guy knows how to get good press and that's the only note they should take since you have no idea what being a manager, working for a football team or even undergoing a transfer is like so yeah everyone take notes.

No the point was regarding how his manner was with the media. Before the bid was accepted or rejected he wanted to speak with the player. This is what I was getting at. If the money was right then it should be down to the player.

Look at it this way some1 bids 5mill for Tav. Money is right so speak with the player first before rejecting or accepting the bid.
