Fans on this page are ways nothing but happy. W/W are just in the door and people are saying that the signings are duds. I.e ( Danny Wilson )

He was good enough years ago at us. Saying best defender. We sell him fans go mad ( and I quote here from when he was sold on ) should have kept him another year or got more. He played amazing last year for Hearts bossing the defensive and his midfield and took them up. ( although it's a team game ) but captains are the ones that keep players on their toes and he did.

Now he's at us. Fans are saying he's not good enough! Get real all you doubters, we are a championship team now. We ain't going to be signing players like Ramos, luis, or even bottom teams from the PL.

We have a new management team that are going to look at what we need and that was defensive and keeper. They addressed that. Yeah need a RB. But there still time. We need a ST foremost. I think give Aird a free role this year and see what the guy can do. He reminds me of Thomas Buffel. Anyone remember him? Yeah fans again slated the guy, then he scores fans where all praising him. But what we need too is a box to box player like Barry Ferguson when he first started off. We get that the we can run that midfield.

ST options. There is Aird, Law, and clarke, even temps can play there. Give these guys a chance and who knows they might fire in 30 goals a season for us.

Anyone know about the Wigan guys we enquired about?

Aird? He is one of the worst players ever to pull on a Rangers shirt, closely followed by Law . Thomas Buffel might not have been a Rangers legend but was very talented and skillful on his day

Mylesdonald, you tell me who is best then this boys been at the squad know the pressure and atmosphere. They would and could do a job! Aird scored a lot of goals in the youth team. But let me guess you're going to say that's youth level. But if a youth ST can get 20-30 at that level we bring them up because that then you will be all praise that young guy.

Aird can do a job!

Teeboy your post was great until it got to the striker bit then it wasn't so great,the only 1 of your 3 that could "maybe"make it as a striker is temps and that's a big maybe the other 2 are rid rotten but that's only my opinion

John1974, yeah it's everyone's opinion. But why not try these guys. Who cares if we only win 1-0 then great. But least chance it with these guys rather than spend money and wages on other players that can't or possibly won't be able to handle the pressure at Rangers week in and week out. Get to January then have a look and see if we need a ST.

BIGWULL. They wanna stay at the team then they will need to give Gers 110% every week. But saying that we could bring in ST's and they could be good or even worse than you all think about Aird. But this new management might be what these players need. Adapted to new positions and a chance to show what they can do. But we will never know as past managers have stuck to vanilla football instead of mixing things about.

I understand where you're coming from teeboy regarding the money side of it but Aird &Law especially are never strikers in a million years like I said temps a big big maybe could be a striker in my opinion

Thomas Buffel was head and shoulders above guys like Aird and Clark and Law is a poor imitation of somebody like Barry Ferguson. If we have to rely on players of this calibre we can forget about getting promoted again this year.

We also have Clark,Hardie,& Gallagher who I think coached properly under W&W could do a job for us this season especially Clark I mean he scored 30 odd goals for QOS before we signed him and granted he hasn't shown anywhere near that form for us since but I believe under W&W I think that could change in my opinion teeboy mate,I would put my 3 especially Clark ahead of your 3 for strikers

Imo aird just doesn't have theskill to play at rangers just like burke, when your playing against a team camped in there own half you need more than just hard workers aird in a smaller side qos, st mirren etc. Would probably look a lot better than the likes of Carmichael, Kidd, cawlley etc. Who have all runus ragged lol. hopefully he proves me wrong.

I think Templeton has something under the right management. At least he has proven he can cut it at a high level. If we can get him back to that kind of form he would be like a new signing. Aird and Clark - no!

Im not singing his praises here or anything but Aird on occasion was our best player in some games and one of the players who had the balls to try and do something with the ball at his feet. He is still young and has a lot to learn and needs to be more consistent but could be a decent player in the future. Charlie Adam was proper mince around his age if I remember right?

All us fans don't know nothing. We only see what we want! Sorry I'm a fan and I think,. , we are all daft! Get behind the team like we do when we Celtic. And you will see a different team. Aird, Law, clarke, McKay, Hardie can all do a job this season I bet! W/W will take us up but they need money for that league. If we can get into Europe next year that's even better. Big club like Rangers, means bigger names. You all have points to say I respect them. But we need to get behind out bears! No more 40 thousand pack that stadium again.
