hello everyone, this will be the last time I write on this forum as I like everyone else love rangers and I wish we were back where we belong but I don't like fighting with my fellow bears, I firmly believe ashley will come good and we will prosper under him but I respect the majority who are against him, you are entitled to your opinion. I will sign off with a question that I have asked several times but no one has answered. WHERE WILL THE MONEY COME FROM IF/WHEN KING AND 3 BEARS TAKE OVER. ibrox stadium needs a lot of money spent on it, its falling to bits. the squad needs to be rebuilt asap, at least 20 million required I reckon, we need a complete scouting system set up and more money invested in youth, current crop not good enough, we need a quality management team in place, not cheap, we need mccoist and mcdonut paid off and forgotten about. all in we probably need about 40 million pounds sooner rather than later to move forward, who is more likely to have that sort of money, billionaire ashley or tax cheat full of hot air king. I know no one will agree but so be it. thank you and goodbye. eoin pierson. darlington loyal

Cannot agree with anything you say about Ashley although your point that we probably need about 40 million pounds sooner rather than later to move forward is a valid one.

How much would the Three Bears, King and the fans be willing to put in if the Ashley men were gone from the board but the onerous contracts still in place?

First of all financially you are correct but having a club which is an extension of SD is not the answer take a look at NUFC .We need crowds back to generate income and probably another year in the championship with scouting system in place and the board gone the feel good factor would come back and we could start to move forward and more investors would come on board .

3.) 29 Jan 2015
Ibrox like any stadium needs some work. a lot of work has been getting done since before the commonwealth games which rangers received a subsidy for from the council. likewise for the metal shed across the city. A scouting system will be put in place with proper coaching from grass roots like all other clubs in the country and your evaluation of £20 million to challenge Celtic is way off. unless of course they start buying a much better calibre of player than they have at present. £15 million over 3 years would see us competing for Europe alongside a good sciuting network to

4.) 29 Jan 2015
Oorpie if the 3 bears don't suceed we will have to down the route with ashley and give him a chance because if he is the only team in town its either sink or swim if he does no get backing that will be end of rangers ed what's your opinion in that scenario

5.) 29 Jan 2015
Yes a club like our does need a professional scouting set up. But let's not forget that once the club is in the right hands and in a position to mabye make some playing aquisitions that we have willing 'scouts' all over the world in the form of ex players who i'm sure would be more than happy to make recommendations. We don't have a board who are interested at the moment tho.

6.) 29 Jan 2015
Oorpie, we all love rangers, we all have our points of view, and thoughts on what's happening at our great club, rightly or wrongly. we are a family who sometimes argue but we stick together, so keep posting your thoughts.

If you look at what Ashley has spent at Newcastle then he isn't going to spend money at Rangers. Newcastle under Ashely have taken in more than they have shelled out in transfers and more importantly have won nothing. He is only interested in the commercial side of things and now he has done this deal he controls 75% of shirt sales and will get money from any shirt sponsorship deal. The club has been sold down the river by this board and the sooner they are gone the better. Ashley won't get rid of these people but King will. Hopefully come the EGM these imposters will be out. Until then I think a boycott is the only answer both going to the games and buying any club merchandise

This man's posts will be missed by so many people (not really) and I for one am gonnae miss those inciteful brilliant observations (not really).

Could we not organise a petition to make him change his mnd?

To answer your inane question King and the 3 Bears will dip into the multi millions they have between them. The same multi millions that allowed the to make a16million offer of assistance with no security on Ibrox and 8.5million also.

You are ashley in dusguise or maybe irvine? Surely you can't actually be this daft naturally?

i am sad you are leaving

Oorpie, were would the money come from if Ashley stayed in control? Definetely not the fat chap, he only lends money out, parky ime in complete agreement with you on this mate.

10.) 29 Jan 2015
The 3 bears & king may be wealthy but they don't have £40-50m to just put into the club, and no one in there right mind would do so. What is so wrong with the way Newcastle are run, most top clubs in epl are bought & invested in with loans, and can some one also explain (maybe you George that knows everything) just what harm Ashley has done at Newcastle, they maybe challenged a couple of titles and nearly bankrupted themselves, rangers need a stable sound business man in charge to go forward.

{Ed039's Note - Newcastle owe Mike Ashley somewhere to the tune of £120m plus, and the same at Rangers this is in the form of an interest free loan that is secured against club property, trademarks and or future TV revenue)

There is no need to stop posting because of difference of opinions, that is what it is all about.

Original poster ashley doesn't invest money he only loans saddling club with more debt no way in the month of Sundays will he loan the club 40 million take your mind back to last time a man who had rangers in his heart and wanted the best for the club he invested tens of millions of pounds in the club his name is David Murray I no some blame him one thing for sure though is he has gave us loads of happy days and memorys for life then stack that up against owners since him nothing but heart ake so I will take 3 bears king and the others waiting in the wings to invest the will spend more than ashley that's for sure for the better of the team they are rangers at heart just like Murray so take ashley and his cronies with u good bye to u sir

14.) 30 Jan 2015
Stewie I read elsewhere it will cost the club 1. pound25pence everytime someone buys a jersey, that money goes to fat mikeyboy.

15.) 30 Jan 2015
But is that not just the same as an overdraft or mortgage, if he ever manages to sell Newcastle would the debt not get wiped, I'm not sure.
But bet the next owner gets debt up to the eyeballs buying it.

{Ed001's Note - the debt would not get wiped if sold, he was asking for someone to pay off the loan as part of the purchase, hence why it is still owned by him.}
