the pitch was better when ref stopped it than it was at the start really dissapointing I was certain we could have won tonight

Not really. When the ref started it was all covered in soft snow. When he stopped it, it was patchy with clumps of half melted ice. Big difference. Just because you could see grass doesn't mean the conditions were better.

Have to agree bigwull we had an unbelievable chance to put one over the jambos tonight everything was in our favour the pitch was far more conducive to the ball being humped up and down the pitch keeping it off the playing surface as long as possible a game we know inside out, also gutted for all Bears who made their way to the game or the protest safe journey home.

Soton bear although it was unfair on the support, I think for the good of both teams the game had to be stopped, imagine a player from either team got a career ending injury, then people would have been saying it should have been stopped

4.) 17 Jan 2015
Agree, I feel hearts where done a favour.

5.) 17 Jan 2015
Soton bear 100% right I really thought we would turn them over last night and the players looked up for it

6.) 17 Jan 2015
Bigwull the players should be looking up for it every game, regardless of the opposition. or the occasion.

George123 your right but if we had won last night it would have brought back a whole lot of confidence back which has been lacking it also would have rocked hearts a bit too alas not to be

Bigwull, you've got to look at it two ways mate, what would have happened if they had beaten us due to a couple of player being red carded for late tackles due to the conditions.
