Back to work tomorrow after a laptop free weekend of sunshine, beer, golf and camping.
Just been catching up on the recent posts (and my question about renewals). It would seem that one of the biggest problems we have is fan division. There really does seems to be a 50/50 split between the 'renew without question' and the 'not without clarity' camps. Got to say, I am surprised that there seem to be no fans saying "I'm unsure".
I've made it clear that I'm all for clarity and honesty before renewal but I'll not pretend that my heart strings haven't been tugged since I saw that STs are now up for renewal. I have spent a large part of tonight in turmoil because ultimately I am a Rangers supporter and my ST is important to me. I love being a ST holder at Ibrox and I'm proud of that. That's why not clicking that 'renew now' button is such a difficult thing to do and why I feel the club should care that there are fans who are going against their every instinct because they have lost trust in those running our club. I also resent other supporters who are choosing to renew referring to themselves as 'TRUE' supporters. I respect the fact that these people have their own decisions to make but make no mistake, choosing to renew is a far easier decision than choosing not to. I believe I am doing what is right for the long term future of my club, but it goes against everything my heart is telling me.
Regardless if you're 'renew' or 'not renew' I think we all want the same thing. In an ideal world the chancers would all leave and Walter would be the figurehead for a fan owned Rangers who rise through the divisions back to the top of the Scottish game. Ally would learn from his mistakes and go on to become as great a Rangers manager as he was a player. Our club would grow from strength to strength on the back of a world renowned scouting network and producing fine young players. Good luck to us all in our separate missions to get to the same goal, but please afford some of us the respect to make our own decisions without having to justify ourselves as 'true fans'. We are not doom and gloom mongers, we are realists who feel we are having to make tough decisions to save our club.

Best I can advise Baybear is get your ST. It's going to be enjoyable and much better than last season. As the boys with the barrows used to shout outside the ground "Support your team and wear their colours". You would miss it too much anyway.
