I am glad that Walter has decided to remain on the board. However, I know that being chairman of a board is the most executive post in any company.
Being a non-executive director holds no authority and as such it makes being chairman a nothing position. To hold any standing the non must be removed or, in my opinion, it is yet another 'gloss over' by those pulling the strings. I feel that the good name of Walter will be tarnished by this latest development. I sincerely hope I am wrong but don't think I am.

Billyb, 100% spot on mate. Non execs are not executive managers of a company but advisors.
WS is taking a huge risk. He's putting his name and reputation on a venture hingeing on CG and chums. He knows his name is being used to reel in fans money but he hopes the money will be spent wisely.
We were told costs were £2.4m a month, end of May that's £12m since December. Fans deserve accounts before buying season tickets.

Don't worry guys. Walter has a good excuse if things go t*ts up.

A sham and a scam to get STs sold in even bigger numbers than last year when it appears that the good guys and real Rangers men win the day. Everyone is in on this and they're taking the fans for mugs again.

Way I see it, he's got our backs and is doing for the love of the club. Any schiesters won't want him going public if things aren't right, they know they need the fans on side and very suspicious fans we are noe to! I'm glad Walters in this post and hopefully he can become an exec member in time though I have no clue about the legalities of that just like most ordinary fans. LB

Lads (and lassies), could we not leave the Board aside for a wee while. Rangers will always exist on the park and we are going to have a much better team next season. Let's concentrate on that and be positive. What do you think Les?

Looks as if the spivs are being paid off one by one. but as Ally said it needs a clean out from top to bottom
looks as if there going to go with another share issue to take us to the spl. and pick off the players as the other clubs flounder round about us
some cost cutting at Auchenhowie
what about Alexander being given player coach duties and give him his extra years he wants he, s been a good servant and its cost cutting?

7.) 31 May 2013
Can't answer for Les but I could not agree more with your post. Upwards and Onwards and here's to more records being broken both on the park and by the best supporters in the world.

To 5. ] Wee willie, yes signings look good to date and the potential looks even better, but it is important that the engine that makes the playing possible is pulling for us. The worry is, that Walter's appointment is yet another gesture to fleece us.
This worry could be sorted out very easily---- audited accounts for the first year's trading sooner rather than later. Or is there something within them that cannot be declared at present. That is just one reason why the chairman must have executive status to enable him to make executive decisions.
[ First year accounts are probably the easiest to produce for any company. ]

Smith cannot win with some people, he plays a minor role then it is money for nothing, he takes on a major role and he is someones puppet.

Somethings to look forward to.
rangers taking a good shy,
rangers scoring from corners,
the game not going flat as a pancake,
mckay and aird coming in from the wings,
with the help of new midfielders black being all he could be.
Traynor managing news and events,
Wallace becoming a Rangers captain,
The fans standing back and seeing what just happend last season,
and of course the best bit seeing almost every other club go back the way as we move forward
yes it will be great as we pick off other peoples players over the next few years and move on
