Lquippe linking us to French CB Stanley Nsoki on loan, played with clement for Brugge. Had a couple big money moves but injuries have curtailed his career so far. Sounds right up our street.

Definitely a position we need strengthened with another 1st choice. I'm getting a bit nervous that we're scrambling around now for short term options though, rather than following through a plan.

Left back tho that can play LCB.

Yeah his injury history makes pretty grim reading, we can’t afford players being unavailable regularly.

Revising my comment after a wee bit of googling - Had 2 recent £10m+ moves, has played under PC before, and still only 25. His injury record makes me wary, but at least there are a good amount of positive signs on this one. Might make sense.

He’s last two seasons where he’s played regularly he’s been CB storm, full seaosn with Brugge that earned him 12.5m move so would say he’s probably best at CB. My only worry is his injury record.

Missed 24 games in six years, better than most our players.

A loan to give club time to peruse seems sensible given his injury history ?.

Was only going with what I read wishy cheers ?.

Or you could say he’s missed 22 in the last two seasons John.

Spot on John as on average that only equates to missing 4 games a season over the 6 year spell ? We've got a helluva lot worse injury records than that at ibrox ?.

He's only played 35 games since 21/ 22 season. Red flags.

13 of those in the last season alone John. Ludicrous to take anyone with that sort of recent injury record on loan, especially with our luck.

He's missed far more games than that since 2020.

On the upside we do keep phyio's and other medics in regular work.

Coisty taking him on loan would be our best bet, could be a very good signing, Clement payed over 5m for him so he clearly rates him.

Currently injured and with a record of injuries past 3 seasons, so of course he’s a shoe in!

Arnstad rumour is about 2 days old but the question is are we any closer on bringing anyone in who would improve our squad?

A loan makes sense because the club is struggling financially, Floyd. In fact, the way many of these days are structured is concerning. The club are now borrowing based on future income to secure players now. Next summer Rangers need to pay £4m for Cotes. Had Rangers signed Kelly that could have been £10m of next summers budget gone.

Not only are Rangers in a poor financial situation now, but they are creating a situation that might financially hamstring the company in the future. Imagine we lose the league this year and need to spend ext summers transfer budget signing that losing team on a permanent basis - Because we are obligated to.

I’m not comfortable with obligations to purchase at some point in the future because I see the way this club has been run in the past. We sold off future season ticket money in 2011 and it almost killed us.
