Where is this being reported?

Seeing it in a few places, but is just "Rangers could sign" or "Rangers should sign" speculation.

looks like Galatasaray are finalising the Yilmaz Deal announced shortly.
Maestro your info is correct mate, Benfica now must loan Jurasek out
after signing Alvaro Fernandez from Man utd.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Celtic took him.
If they’re looking at left backs n benfica happy to loan him to Scotland then wouldn’t it make sense for them to continue relationship with Celtic they’ve built through jota and the mf they’ve. Got the now.

StevieG Celtic are not in Europe ( not for everyone ;) lmfao
We are and that alone makes us the best option in Scotland for Jurasek, Likely Koppen made contact with Benfica and Jurasek about the loan move to Rangers during our time in spain, Only a short trip away, while Clement and Van Der Heyden were training the squad.

Jurasek was linked with Marseille and now that the Doig deal is dead they could be back in for him I would think.

Will see if ridvan or borna get minutes tonight? That will show how close a move for which one is closer to move out.

Ridvan was finalising a move to Verona last week, now it’s Galatasaray this week. I’m getting fed up of chat regarding him it’s been every window since he signed! If I was a betting man my money would be on him still being a rangers player when the window shuts! It really is getting boring reading the same crap on here day in day out!

Won’t happen there other lb is injured and they did not pay £14 million to loan him in January.

Considering borna in his last 6 months you have to say him until something concrete happens.

If ridvan plays tonight, you wouldn’t think a move was imminent, so we will see. It looks like one out one in with obviously the exception of the desperately needed striker, so looks as if we need to free up cash before we can make any moves. Personally I’d keep ridvan, but looks like he’s the only one we can cash in on at the moment.

I see the Daily Rag are reporting that the young lad Beck, who was on loan at Dundee, is on the radar of the team across the city. ?.

We fancy him to, but obviously Rodgers being ex Liverpool might favour them? See ridvan is playing tonight the plot thickens.

At the moment I believe that it is brinkmanship on both sides. Galatasaray want Yilmaz but they want him on loan for the remainder of the season with an agreement in place to buy at the end of the season. They will hold out for as long as possible to secure this deal. They are being supported by the Turkish FA who are making it obvious that Yilma will have a greater chance of being at the Euros if he is playing his football in Turkey. Yilmaz is well aware of the deal that will be on the table for him. The Turkish Window doesn't close until after the Scottish window so Rangers has a decision to make if they want to secure a replacement.
The Turks are tough negotiators, (and don't always play by the rules) .
The other question is - will we have an unhappy player on our books if he doesn't get the move? I don't think there will be any bearing on whether he stays or goes based on him playing tonight.

Not necessarily as until recently Bernardo hasn’t played or started too often for Celtic so I would imagine Benfica wouldn’t be falling over themselves to loan another player to a club that haven’t played 1 of their players already certainly domestically.
I do get your point that they must have a good working relationship though due to previous deals.

I haven’t heard Celtic being linked to Jurasek either.
If there’s no option to buy it seems like a short term solution to LB issue,
Maybe gaffa wants to keep powder dry for Striker and until he knows budget for summer which Champions league qualification giving him more options for better quality signings.

It’s just the injury risk berkshire, you don’t usually risk players on the risk of injury and pulling plug, not really common place.

I appreciate this Maestro, it's a good point however I am pretty sure that rangers are playing the long game here, i. e., we want to keep this player, we are in no risk to let him leave, but if he is to leave then we will need to replace him, and we want an upfront fee, to counter Galatasaray's proposal to take him on loan. I'm sure that this one still has a long way to run and I won't be surprised if another Turkish Club shows an interest before the end of the week.
