Rangers agreed to the fee Swansea wanted but not structured the way Swansea wanted. Rangers issued a take it or leave it. Looks like it's a leave it. Shame as the boy wanted the move.

I watched a compilation of Whittaker yesterday. Did you guys know he takes all the set-pieces? Corners, penalties, and free-kicks. He’s obviously a good striker or the ball, with a good delivery and confidence. His return of goals and assists at Plymouth Argyle certainly reflects that.

His height, his age, his intelligence, the fact he plays on the right and comes inside on to that left-foot. There’s so much about this lad that we could use in our team. We’ve been crying out for a quality RW for years.

Personally, I’ll be disappointed if we miss out.
