any of our regular posters in the know on what's happening with the guys were after are we any closer to getting them in this window

and what's the possibilities on any out goings?

im hoping we can get the guys in to help us keep mounting a serious challenge on the league and hopefully win the cups

This is what I don’t get re Raskin.
If he has agreed a deal in principle with us why doesn’t he sign a pre contract?
Is he just wanting out of Leige this window regardless who he goes to or has he really got his heart set on us. All a bit fishy if you ask me. I know for a fact we won’t pay the £2.5 million plus their ridiculous sell on clause so good on the club holding firm on this.

@thestigno1 if this window has shown anything it’s that NONE of the so called ITK posters on here or other forums have any inside track or legitimate information.

This site would work so much better if there was a rating system to upvote those that actually post stuff that comes to fruition rather than just post complete guesswork and hope one lands.

Personally I think the Raskin situation is like this.

Player doesn't want to wait until the summer to move clubs, He wants to play now. So he's holding out signing anything incase it happens.

Now why has other clubs not payed liege for him? Well I think all the clubs who have tabs on him see him as a replacement for x player, benfica if they lost Enzo for example.

That is exactly what the situation is. Raskin is happy to come to Rangers but he wants to move now. He does not want to sit in Standard’s reserves until the summer. As soon as we have a bid accepted he’ll put pen to paper and be a Rangers player. If another club comes along and matches Standard’s asking price before we do, and can offer Raskin a move now, we’ll miss out. He won't sit there and wait for us.

Raskin is set to play in the European championships for the Belgium U21 side in the summer. The Belgian journalist who was on the ‘Rangers Review’ emphasised this boys desire to be playing football right now. He wants to move now, not in the summer.

I think it's incredible that folk post as if they personally know the player and their motivations.

Raskin isn't the first, and won't be the last, out of contract player to be left in "limbo" whilst two clubs try and squeeze the best deal possible ahead of deadline day.

It would be naive of all three parties not to have Plan B's in case this deal was to fall through.
