Is Ryan Jack on his way out? It doesn't seem as though Gio rates him.

One sub appearance against Livi and then subbed off after a dreadful performance against Union which cost him his place v Kilmarnock.

Thus why Davis, who many feel the club have stood by signing a new deal, was preferred before Jack against Kilmarnock.

Gio wants rid of injury prone players.

Its seems that Lundstram, Kamara and Davis are all ahead of Jack for the central midfield positions. I have to say that I agree.

I don't think Jack would be a big loss if he were to move on.

Many feel that he is the first name on the team sheet. Maybe in seasons past but I honestly think that Gio sees Jack as a squad player at best.

Good servant but there is no room for sentiment in football.

In Gio we trust.

Unbelievable, Coldo, sorry Jeff?.

Jeff, just ignore tattie head and dk, always negative with them, no one else is aloud an opinion.

I hear what your saying about Ryan jack, Jeff. He's not been the same player since his last big injury, never looks like he's moving freely, and you are right he will struggle to get a game with lundstram, Lawrence, kamara, Davis ahead of him as it would seem. I like Ryan jack and I'm guessing he will play on Saturday vs st John, if he doesn't get any minutes then I guess that would clarify your point. Still a good squad player to have about. Shame about his injuries.

Jeff seriously you are daft. Jack has injury issues that's all he came in last season when we were playing poor and drove the whole team on to better form. your off your rocker sorry but that's madness talking.

Jacko at his best starts in our starting 11 all day long for me ?.

10 Aug 2022 20:23:33
If Jack can get match sharp and stay fit he has his place he’s way off the pace he needs some mins in his legs can see him coming on 70 mins played similar to alfrado till match sharp.

7.) 10 Aug 2022
10 Aug 2022 20:38:33
Coops the problem is when was last time Jack was at his best You can’t keep paying a guy that’s constantly injured this goes for roofe and helander also.

MPH surely the bold coldo couldn’t have made another return.

8.) 10 Aug 2022
10 Aug 2022 20:58:30
Jack never came in and drove us he had one decent game in the cup final other than that he’s been well of his usual level sadly.

9.) 10 Aug 2022
10 Aug 2022 21:00:09
People calling him of his rocket for pointing out jack has been below par? Well it’s true and he’s never fit. Think his time is coming to a end. Lundstram has took his position and made it his own.

Jacko has been struggling for fitness now since February last year. His return earlier this spring suggests he simply isn't the same player he was before. He doesn't cover the grass like he did, Tav is far more exposed than he used to be when Jacko was in, and Rangers concede goals now with him in the side, which we didn't use to. Reports on here he's to be offered a new deal seem very odd to me.

Ryan Jack has played a seasons worth of games in the last season, with around 1/ 3 of being decent performances IMO.

Jack was outstanding against Dortmund over their.

For me anyway it's about game management regarding jacko ?Most definitely i wouldn't be thinking about getting shot of him, absolutely no chance as he's a very capable midfielder who can turn games in our favour ?A fit ryan jack plays in our biggest games for me!

10 Aug 2022 22:01:20
Jack no longer up for it. He will be lucky to get 15 starts. Only injuries to other will see a run.

Not the player he was shame.

15.) 10 Aug 2022
10 Aug 2022 22:24:25
Bs jack had many games where he helped us change tactically and was main reason behind lundstrum being able to change his form.

10 Aug 2022 22:26:22
guys a mainstay of team one season and your trying to drive him out next season after 2 league games and a couple of European matches . ? I get the injury stuff is frustrating but he did play enough last season not anywhere near as bad as roofe or helander injury wise.

17.) 10 Aug 2022
10 Aug 2022 22:29:30
If jack continues to be out injured for most of this season then fair enough. Time to move on but give the guy a chance season barely even started . ?.

18.) 10 Aug 2022
10 Aug 2022 22:38:41
Jack involved in 22 out of 66 games,
9 in league
9 in Europe
3 Scottish cup
1 league cup

Majority he did not play 90 minutes.

19.) 10 Aug 2022
10 Aug 2022 22:57:36
My post should read above he has played less than a season over the last two, apologies.

10 Aug 2022 23:00:56
Jack is a quality player. No way gio would want him out. Aye he had a poor performance against union but so did the rest of the team not just jacko.
Jack leaving would def be a huge loss, but he's going nowhere so don't need to speak about it.

21.) 11 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 00:10:16
Unfortunately he will never be the ryan jack of 2 or 3 seasons ago. Injuries have took the toll and for me he doesn't play anymore if everyone is fit, let alone be first on teamsheets like some say.

22.) 11 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 03:01:33
Ok John26 so Morelos missed the last 5 months or so should he be moved out? We have not had sufficient time to call if Lawrence Tillman rabbi are going to do ok signs look good but things can change rapidly and I'd rather keep a guy like jack or arfield around until these guys establish themselves.

23.) 11 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 05:12:23
Gdog surely if you're saying were to be true regarding jacko playing 15 games a season is it not better having a terrific midfielder who can still contribute and matter and change games in your favour ?I most definitely think so and i'll say here and now jacko will be given a new deal because he's still very important for rangers ?.

24.) 11 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 07:13:47
So we want rid Ramsey helander roofe Souttar but we keep Jack.
650 k a year and can’t has not played 15x 90 minutes in nearly three years.

25.) 11 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 07:58:44
Jack is our best midfielder. He has come through hell since last February. I think he at least deserves a chance to prove he can still do it.

26.) 11 Aug 2022

Jack will start tomorrow against St Johnstone.

27.) 11 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 08:59:17
I love Jack, however I don't think he's the kind of personality or player that can 'manage' an injury.

His game play is so physical that I can't see anything other than more niggly injuries on the horizon.

Hopefully I'm proved wrong though.

28.) 11 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 09:15:14
I am with John on this. Too early in the season to conclude he isn't the same player he was but we can't afford to carry someone who is going to miss so many games.

As posted above, he seems to get different treatment to other injury prone players like Roofe, Helander, Souttar (who is only five minutes in the door)

Good player when fit but not irreplaceable and would rather have someone we know will be available more often than not.

29.) 11 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 09:17:23
A fully match fit Ryan Jack would be in the team every week. The problem at present is that he does not look close to match fitness.

30.) 11 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 12:04:53
We can only play 11 men so some are out of the team for a while and then they get back in, that's the way it works . It doesn`t mean that anybody who is left out for a game or two are heading out . Look at Davis and Wright they had long spells last season where they didn`t play . We need a squad not just a team.

31.) 11 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 16:44:03
Did we win those 22 games?

32.) 11 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 19:43:09
Helander was injury prone when we got him and himself made mutterings of wanting to go back to Sweden Ramsey only ever showed flashes and wasn't a rangers player was on loan only. never said I wanted rid of souttar just he needs to learn as he was made a mug of by livi defender. Honestly think Ramsey was never going to do much for us and couldn't understand all the crazy reaction when he signed not played consistently well in years.

33.) 12 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 22:27:43
Completely with you on this one John, Ryan Jack is a good player but hasn’t been at it for a full season since the season before 55, he was a bit part player or injured most of the 55 season as well.

34.) 12 Aug 2022
12 Aug 2022 12:20:46
Only time will tell whether Ryan Jack can put his injury woes behind him. Let's hope so. I personally wouldn't compare him with either Helander or Roofe. With Roofe I just think it is more psychological and Helander just seems to be really unlucky with injuries. In an ideal world we would get both these guys off our wage bill, get some money for them in transfer fees and use the money to bring in a first team starter.
