We should only be paying what we think a player is worth to us. Would be great to get all the players mentioned but we all need our club to be on a solid footing.
We were all delighted to see players coming through the door in the last few days. Give them time to see what happens. It is progressing, you never know we might all be surprised.

Sorry, I don't want someone who left their teammate to potentially die in a car accident. We also got him from Derby, a league 1 club. I honestly don't know how you lot can back ross wilson. Some of the "fans" on this site would happily run us into the ground. It's unbelievable. We have financial stability and I actually like the fact the Board is being prudent - invest in youth and supplement that with the right players at the right price. Have you watched this guy extensively to help determine what he's worth? I doubt it. but I guarantee our scouting team have. Maybe let them do their job, what they are paid for, and just support whoever is brought in?

I would like at least one signing who is of a standard better than we have. We’ve signed pretty strong squad players so far (I. e. better than we had) . Perhaps Fulgini is that guy however, most of us had never heard of him until a few days ago and most of the guys who had heard of him it was from football manager. I don’t want us over paying but I’ll be gutted if we don’t sign at least 1 first team player who improves our starting 11. (I’d say two now Aribo is gone)

Like most on this thread I suspect, I had never heard of Fulgini until the rumours that we were interested in signing him. Is he worth €7m, (which reputedly is what is current Club want for him), I have no idea, however it does appear to be a lot of money for a player entering the last year of his contract. Yes, I know, we have just banked £6m for Aribo with the potential of more to follow, but I won't be too upset if he doesn't sign because I suspect that he is not the only player we are looking at.
I have not been impressed with the players signed that would be considered experienced, i. e., 25 or older. Lundstram took 6 months to settle, the jury is out on Sakala, Simpson hasn't worked out and Roofe has been a disaster due to the injuries that he suffers from. Better that we concentrate on younger players unless we can sign some real bargains.

I'm a huge fan of the way our club is being run at the moment and have total trust in Wilson and the board.
I won't lose any sleep if we miss out on Bozoer and Fulgini, as I know the Scottish League is a hard sell.

See if your going to buy a car and the car is £10.000 in your eyes but the seller says I want £14,000 for it does that make you clueless for walki. g away or knowing your budget / limitations, that extra doe you just throw away to get the deal done quickly could cover other things, same goes for players it's no different, to chastise the board for trying to get the best deal is absolutely astounding, say we can save even £500,000 on a deal that can be spent towards a few youth players, refurb in the stadium, pay Ibrox staff, honestly man some people are unreal, yes I want deals done quickly but with today's market, agents, structured payments, sell on fees, appearance fees this rubbishs not done on a couple of hours and if it is something is seriously wrong.

Not posted for a week or two as I tend not to get involved in transfer rumours ever since I retired and don't have the contacts I once had. The ones I did post in the past turned out to be, in the main, spectacularly wrong.
I normally only look for posts by John25, CoplandFront5 and TomThumb, all of whom have the type of insight that keeps us both informed and entertained. I have little time for the bandwagon jumpers and the 'I agree' posters. By the way, Tom, I hope your health is improving.
The point of this post is this. If signing Tom Lawrence means that Tjrfc takes his inane negativity and downright rudeness he inflicts on the rest of us for a long walk somewhere far from here, it will be a great signing.

tavsonloyal, much as it may pain you to hear this I agree with much of your post. It's great that we have posters with credible information and who obviously have reliable sources, such as John25, CoplandFront5 and TT, as these are the posts that really spark excitement, enthusiasm and interest.
However, other posters, particularly on the Banter threads may not have sources, yet still like to get involved with the debate and give their opinions. Ultimately, this will often involve either agreeing or disagreeing with posts and if we didn't have this type of poster on here, each of the threads would be pretty short. I really enjoy reading the great majority of the posts on this site, irrespective of whether the posters have credible sources or they are like me and have absolutely no contacts at all within the club.
Agree or disagree with posts on here, maintaining and encouraging a high volume of posters who get involved is vital and adds multiple nuances to the discussion threads.
I'm glad you've broken your silence tavson and I hope you continue to get involved regularly rather feel a couple of bad bits of info in the past should preclude your contributions. Correct or incorrect, reading rumours adds excitement and it's possible your previous posts were genuinely true and simply did not come to fruition.

I'll put my hands up in error guys I just noticed the footage I watch was very old and looks like the guy has developed a bit since then still don't think he's 7 million player though. Footage I watch had him playing deeper but more up to date stuff has him further forward and seems to have brought out best in him.
