WhatsApp group, roofe has been told free to find another club, apparently we have lost patience.
Believed not to have anything apart from minor niggles. Stated he was not fit ento travel.

Feel like big Fils in a different brackets he’s had a couple horror injuries back to back, Roofe seems to pick up a knock every few weeks! Real good player aswell ?.

Yip same as what have heard John.
As I said before staff have raised concerns before that it's more mental than physical with him, niggles that any player or any normal person has and can still play or get on with normal life.
I support every player that plays for us completely but if it's just laziness or not putting the effort in meanwhile making more than some of us do in a year or even 2 years of hard work for 7 days of "work" then I would be more than happy to see him pack his bags and leave.

Roofe is extremely talented but i agree very injury prone with all these calf niggles especially ?I rate him highly and if not for these constant injuries roofe imo could play for a decent sized club in the english premier league ?If roofe is leaving rangers i most certainly thank him and wish him all the best of luck ?.

I’m goi to be absolutely honest
I’m bloody glad - I heard rumours that he goes on the treatment table for very minor ailments and seems more interested in being unable to play and just collect his salary
if that’s true good riddance
John do you know if his contract is getting tore up and he can leave on a free or are we looking for cash for him

If we can sell Roofe (which I agree with if he isn’t 100% committed) then we will need to bring in another striker I would think for cover.
Great player on his day however when fit, never took to him fully though for some reason and doesn’t fit our system.

TT jack is a brilliant player when fit he just isn’t ever fit enough and doubt he will be ever again which is a shame but he comes into that bracket.
I have been wanted rid of roofe for a while because of his injuries took a lot of stick ? the problem is getting someone to take the gamble on him as we need him of the wage bill I still can’t believe he gets 35k a week.

If we offload Roofe for 2.7m and get him off the wage bill and sign another forward that’s good business, like the guy he scored some important goals for us when fit but he is by far the most injury prone player at the club.

Yeah agree sweep, that why we got him at a decent price I guess. If he didn’t have the injury problems he would have been worth a lot more. Worth a chance and has been a decent signing and scored some important goals but we should be looking to improve.
If we can get £2-£3m would take thay.

He was a risk when we signed him due to his injury problems but we did get him cheap. I do get the feeling that he just doesn't fancy the SPFL and would probably play more games down in the Championship.
At circa £2m I can see him going to someone like Middlesborough or Burnley and doing well. That would be a great result for us, recouping some of our initial outlay and getting him off the wage bill.
