Bazoer was in advanced talks with Marseille but recent change in management has reopened discussions with others. GvB could be a big pull for him. The quality of the SPL is the sticking point as may hinder international chances.

They want to keep McAtee around the first team so there is big doubt he will now come to us

I always trust John25 on here with a lot of his info from his reliable sources spot on ?Tom Lawrence is a talented winger no doubt about that and scores goals but i honestly didn't think we'd try and sign him,
due to his off field stuff ?How close do you reckon we are to signing tom Lawrence, John25 ?.

I'm hoping we can get signings done soon, we need 4/ 5 players to go straight into the first team, Bazoer would be a great signing exactly the quality of player we need.

That's pretty close to rumours I was hearing at the weekend - 4 of those are part of the 5 I heard we're looking to get over the line - MacAtee being the exception.

Also hearing today that Middleton is showing up well in training.

McAtee already confirmed to be no interest, can't see us being in for him. City are selling 7th choice players for 10m now. Wouldn't want Lawrence, even if he's good. He's a horrible person.

Not particularly excited by these names in the main. Bazoer would be a coup if we can get him. Don’t understand Ozer, we have 3 keepers already. Don’t like keepers from that area of the world, total generalisation I know but they seem so error prone. Will absolutely get behind whoever comes but overall not sure this is strengthening if all were to arrive. Been looking and looking at forward players, I keep coming back to Solbakken at Bodo, not seen anything to suggest the rumoured Roma move is happening. Would be worth a pop. Also like the prospect of Lazaro if that’s true.

Interesting to see how they progress, all be good additions. Thanks for the info John. The boy from Man City sounds promising. Maybe be appealing to him given the progress of Aribo and Bassey etc.

I still think we need starters to push at RW and LCB/ LB.
If we get a RW I don’t think we need a direct replacement if Aribo goes as we have Hagi and Lowry to play behind the striker. Need to try and keep Kent and Morelos.

Then need to loose a few of the squad players like Simpson (if not gone already) and promote from B team.

The Derby players basically got passed on a night out, decided they should drive home, wrecked the car and half of them ran away leaving their teammate trapped in the car.
