I've started hearing whispers in some quarters over the past couple of days that we are looking into the possibility of Aaron Ramsey returning to the club after he has been freed by Juventus. What I am hearing is that the wages won't be an issue as he is receiving a huge payoff from Juve.

you wouldn’t have to know much about the game to scream yes yes yes

fantastic player for nothing will do for me,

2.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 16:07:34
He can't get a club to take him that's why. Free agent on zero wages. Has cost juve a fortune.

3.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 16:12:36
100% Tom. What's not to like? Hope this is a goer.

4.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 16:14:13
Do th douncy. Yes a serious option. However, he is due 16 million in wages they r offering 4 million
If I was him I’d sit tight, juventus will send him on loan.

I’d take him.

30 Jun 2022 16:36:05
The Seeker what we would have to pay on wages the limit of how much we can spend from 2023-26 will go from 90%-70% he will look for above £50k a week.

6.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 16:44:33
Massive NO from me tom. One of the most injury prone players. Ever. We have enough of them at the club at the minute. Not sure we need anymore. 2 ok games v dundee doesn't merit us taking him again.

7.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 16:51:53
He was a big letdown Last season can’t see who it would change this season. Also he wouldn’t want injured in run up to World Cup would he give 100% when fit ?.

8.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 16:53:50
I’d take him and will be extremely motivated to shine in run up to the World Cup.

9.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 16:56:02
I agree with John, there is no logic to him accepting a payoff of £4m given what he is due. Definitely one for Ramsay to play hardball.
The major issue will be the tax bill that he faces unless he can structure his pay off so that Juventus pick up the tax liability.

10.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 16:58:57
I would take him on loan or free.

11.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 17:05:07
I would have him back as well if it was an option. Who knows but at least he would be much fitter and faster than he was when he came last season.

12.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 17:30:04
Not a chance is Ramsey coming back after the miss in the final imo .

13.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 17:32:42
I would have him back on a play n pay contract

Injury prone = he has had a few
Good player = yes showed it with wales too few weeks ago

Rangers = 50/ 50 as i think he will end up at lafc with bale.

14.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 17:35:52
Rename the us to “injury prone Central”. Last thing we need is another full treatment table .

Yes a 29 yrs old Ramsey all day, not now he's done .

15.) 30 Jun 2022
30 jun 2022 17:49:35
done, but a racing certainty to be going to the world cup.

16.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 17:52:06
Just because he missed a Pen he’s not to come back? He arrived injured and needs a decent pre season and managed properly but what an asset he could be to us… Lowry already said how much he learned from Ramsey in the short time….

17.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 17:55:16
You could have this lot out injured as the same time lol
Souttar
Roofe
Borna
Jack
Maybe Ramsey .

Can’t see it us bring him back .
I’m bei g really negative with Ramsey, only due to his injury history, if he was fully fit would we actually have a chance in signing him . Think not .

18.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 18:02:26
Yes because he missed the penalty the other half of the city would rip him apart .

19.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 18:16:41
Only pay him 10/ 15k a game, if he is not happy with that don't go for him.

20.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 18:19:40
Gvb so if u miss a penalty u don’t get back, who actually cares what other side say.

21.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 18:21:29
Gvb u could have kent Goldson tav Morelos lundstrum injured who knows.

22.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 18:24:59
Take him back happily if we could.

23.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 18:45:43
John - yes u could, but they don't have same history as the others mentioned .

If Ramsey comes I will support him but I don't think he will .
More money down south or over the pond .

24.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 18:46:06
People say yes take him but based on his arsenal or Wales performances he did nowhere near enough to warrant a contract he'll spend most of his time on treatment table. No thanks time to move away from signing injury pro e players.

25.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 19:05:02
I’d take Ramsay back in a heartbeat I think he has unfinished business in a rangers jersey.

26.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 19:14:13
A remember watching a game one Ramsey was going out to the right side on the wing he was absolutely class that game I would take him.

27.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 19:16:36
Not for me too injury prone and never done much.
Throw in the penalty and I’m sorry but it’s a no.

28.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 19:22:26
INTR a that’s the problem with Ramsey he always shows up for wales rangers would need to change the away too to wales top and he may turn up for us.

29.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 19:23:45
John you could have those players injured but we don’t need another injury prone player in our squad and he is injury prone 100%.

30.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 19:32:41
Fantastic player and as one of the guys said, he has unfinished business with us. Love to see him back in the famous blue. Also a brilliant role model for the youngsters as evidenced already by young Lowry. As I've said, what's not to like?

31.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 21:09:27
cannot believe there’s rangers fans that Wouldn’t want Aaron Ramsey in the books. mind blowing. I’d have him at rangers all day long.

32.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 21:21:55
Would take him in a heartbeat seen the quality he has in spells last season and a great role model for the younger players coming through.

33.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 21:24:34
As I have said above, I don't see him leaving Juventus unless they substantially increase his Payoff however if he was to return then I reckon he would be worth the risk for a number of reasons. He will want to stay fit for the World Cup and a fully fit Ramsay would be better than any of our current midfield players.
He would also be the perfect role model for our young up and coming attacking midfield players and young lads such as Lowry would learn considerably from him. We have some top quality young players coming through from the B Team, (just look at the quality of youngster that we have just signed, but they are a couple of years away from the first team. Ramsay could be the perfect option for then next couple of seasons if the weekly wage was right!

34.) 30 Jun 2022
30 Jun 2022 21:40:36
I bet that he is not injured before December and the W. Cup.
It’s a 10 from Scambled Egg.

35.) 01 Jul 2022
01 Jul 2022 01:23:24
If missing penalties is the bar then young Saka shouldn't play for England again, absolute nonsense.

36.) 01 Jul 2022
01 Jul 2022 02:35:29
Gvb, it would be the same with outher injured players, what makes you think our back four plus alf won't get injured pre season? its a gamble worth taking in my opinion, but any player can pick up an injury at anytime.

37.) 01 Jul 2022
01 Jul 2022 06:31:47
Does no one remember Ramsey scoring a great goal against the other mob? Everyone seems obsessed with the penalty miss, i also would have him back in a minute ????.

38.) 01 Jul 2022
01 Jul 2022 09:40:22
100% gregory.

39.) 01 Jul 2022
01 Jul 2022 09:46:20
Why does anyone want him back? The penalty moss apart it’s prob just sour grapes right.
He hardly kicked a ball he was pointless.

40.) 01 Jul 2022
01 Jul 2022 11:09:03
People saying they wouldn't take him back because he missed a penalty. Morelos, Roofe and Tav have all missed penalties for Rangers (plus many more have) yet they are still lauded as heroes! Let me offer a twist on Ramsey and 'that' penalty - at least he had the balls to say he was ready and willing to take one.

The story about him coming back seems to be growing, I'd be happy to see him back in royal blue.
