I'm not sure how accurate one football site is but they reckon Morelos and Kent r close to signing new extension deals at rangers.
They indicate aribo won't sign a new deal.

As much as I love aribo two out of three ain't bad.

Kent and Morelos have been close for a couple of weeks but the priority was Goldson.

You said yesterday Morelos will be announced soon and Kent won’t be far off behind that announcement.

John what site are you referring to mate.

3.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 15:39:58
If I had to pick 2 of the 3, that's the 2 I would probably prefer to keep.

4.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 15:40:57
Happy for aribo to hI John to make way for hagi and then lowry.

5.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 15:41:29
I thought it would be Kent who would go to be honest, has been linked with a move south a lot over the years.

Morelos top priority for me… if we can keep one of the others great. If not signing a new contract we need to cash in however.

6.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 15:46:06
Joe needs to go then imo.

7.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 15:50:38
If that's true then I'd be delighted. If we were to lose 1 out they 3 I'd prefer it to be aribo.

8.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 15:58:15
John like you I love Aribo, however if he doesn't want to sign I think we should sell him, instead of letting his contract run down. I know we didn't pay a lot for him, but he is an asset that will devalue as the months go by.

9.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 16:07:49
2 out of 3 would be good news john. Morelos probably most crucial out the 3.

10.) 15 Jun 2022
15 jun 2022 16:12:49
that’s very true john, but i’ve felt for quite some time that aribo was giving off the wrong signals, you know yourself having spent a lifetime playing watching or coaching football something about a players demeanour, even his face can tell a story, i’ve said for months to a couple of people who use my tickets “ that boy doesn’t seem happy “, now you may well know better because they are just my thoughts on aribo, hopefully a good outcome will prevail for all.

11.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 16:27:14
Aribo has been superb for us. Played in many positions and done very well at it!

15m would be my asking price.

12.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 16:51:54
GDog10 with less than 12 months left on his contract we're not going to get anything near £15 million.

13.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 17:03:47
It’s called one football one Walter.

Copland my thoughts more re kent mate.

14.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 17:07:13
I like aribo but would punt him and kamara in a heartbeat if it meant us keeping Kent and Alfredo.

15.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 17:11:50
I have heard that Aribo will sign a 12 month extension with sell clause of between 12 and 15 million. Kent and Morelos will both sign 2+ years extensions.

16.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 17:15:13
That would be ideal bellshill,

17.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 17:31:59
If Aribo doesn’t sign a new deal we must move him on for say £10 million?

18.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 19:14:26
If what you say that Aribo doesn't look happy after the season we had then what hope is there. to win a domestic trophy and reach a European Final would be enough to make any player or team out there delirious with happiness. my opinion.

19.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 19:18:08
Aribo certainly looked like he wanted to be here when he celebrated his goal in the final.

If it was one to leave I would say aribo as well but hopefully we get an extension on him as well. He has played in a hell of a lot of positions for us never complained just got on and done his job. Yeah after the Africans nations cup his form took a downturn but this happens with even the best players in the world.

20.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 18:19:31
£10m would be phenomenal business for someone we got for £300k
He performed in the big games and scored crucial goals. He’s earned his move to the epl, final 12 months of contract I’d say even £8m would be good business and closer to what we will be getting than £10m but the more the better.

21.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 18:19:38
Kent is the most crucial out of the 3. We would’nt have got through the last 8 weeks of the season without kent like we did without Morelos. Morelos is the one to go for me and wants to go I hear.

22.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 18:43:07
You won't get anywhere near 15m if you don't ask for anywhere near 15m.

Shy weans get no sweeties as they say.

Liam Gallagher before anyone replies to your quote regarding Morelos you should roll with it, take your time, say what you say and don’t let anybody get in your way. oomph. my opinion.

26.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 19:45:39
Morelos doesn’t want to go, he’s the most settled he’s ever been since signed for us.

27.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 20:40:50
Kent easiest to replace out the 3.

28.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 20:49:05
If Aribo wants to go then let him leave as long as we profit from it. He done fairly well for us and the guy has a first touch like he had a wand on his feet but hey ho! This season coming is a transitional season so we need people in who want to be here.

29.) 15 Jun 2022
15 jun 2022 20:50:16
celebrating a goal in any game. let alone a european final has absolutely zero bearing on whether a guy wants to live in a country or play for a club, I've possibly only ever seen a couple who didn't celebrate a goal.

30.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 21:04:28
Tom I just see that as a characteristic of aribo.

31.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 21:28:28
Hi Bears all three bring something different, I think it will be good business to sell one to keep the squad upgraded most years when a players stock is high. Personally I would miss each of them but business is business. Sell big invest in the club. Although I think the squad is tight they are professional footballers. They seem like a family as they have come through a lot together.

32.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 21:42:32
Kent is far too inconsistent and for a winger does not score enough goals for me, we could easily pick up a replacement, keep Aribo if he signs new deal cash in on Kent.

33.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 22:00:30
Marco negri tk name - Tom remember he didn’t celebrate scoring and I was a young primary school boy infact no a was 2nd year and got intkk on brother from my school manager for not celebrating scoring goals copying Marco negri.

34.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 22:08:13
Was there not a rumour goi g about apparently after the final Bassey has supposedly asked Aribo if he now was going g to stay and his reply was I’m not sure heard by a nearby camera that was filming?

35.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 22:27:10
Look at the posts on here when goldson didn’t sign in the timeline that people thot . The exact same chat as we are hearing about Aribo .
If he dosnt want to play fir us etc …
Let the boy negotiate . And as for Kent being the easiest to replace? Doubt it ask BD.

36.) 15 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 22:36:42
TT and his interviews where he says he is happy here also ?? he has never looked like he has wanted to be anywhere else ?. I think he will go this summer.

LG a are you serious Kent hardest to replace? Alfredo hardest to replace as we seen last 8 weeks of the season he plays in that final we win it IMO. Kent is easiest to replace out the 3.

37.) 16 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 23:41:40
£10m for Aribo? That’s terrible money for An Eagle! 70 games played and he’s proved he can play in several positions!

He’s worth £20…. £15 with add ons at the very least!

Kjaer of Celtic went for £12 with a year left! WHERE IS HE NOW FORGOTTEN reject! He was bang avg!

38.) 16 Jun 2022
15 Jun 2022 23:41:54
Nonsense about Kent and Morelos both being easy to replace. Aribo is the easiest to replace and that wouldn’t be such an easy thing to do.

Truly world class defenders are scared of Kent during the European games we’ve played.

39.) 16 Jun 2022
16 jun 2022 01:04:57
ok, i will keep my opinions to myself, do you think only you should have one like?

john you could very well be correct, its just something i picked up on and it stayed with me, maybe the boy is very happy, time will tell if he's here next season.

40.) 16 Jun 2022
16 Jun 2022 01:33:04
We should prioritize keeping Morelos and Aribo. Kent, bassey, kamara etc should go of its big bucks but anyone that thinks we can go out and easily replace these guys on our budget is dreaming. Obviously our budget would increase bit come on. We got sooo lucky with Fredo, Bassey, Aribo etc etc. Maybe enjoy what we've got, that got us to a European final. Just a thought.

41.) 16 Jun 2022
16 Jun 2022 04:45:26
I'd take 5 for aribo now . with only a year left for a guy we got for nowt. It's not bad because he will definitely walk away for nothing if we don't act.

42.) 16 Jun 2022
16 Jun 2022 05:04:15
I agree with most if one had definitely to leave between Kent,
morelos and aribo then i would be selling aribo first ?As much as i rate kamara he's now not a guaranteed starter and i honestly think if we got a suitable offer i'd sell him before any of the rest ?
For me morelos and kent are massive players for our football club in the way firstly gerrard and now gio wants us to play ???.

43.) 16 Jun 2022
16 jun 2022 05:15:29
look guys, we have a financial health plan, we can't keep just offering new deals and watch valuable assets disappear over a clifftop

at some point we must cash in, not keep the same team for years, same team who didn't win the league by the way, some of these players will without doubt get stale, its about revitilising the club not just a couple of players. that means selling when the price is right, for our financial health and the greater good of the club going forward,

44.) 16 Jun 2022
16 Jun 2022 05:37:18
We aren't close I don't see them signing a new Long term Contract I see them closer to the exit dt.

45.) 16 Jun 2022
16 Jun 2022 07:23:53
Stig no it was not heard by a camera. that's what people thot he appeared to stay.

46.) 16 Jun 2022
16 Jun 2022 08:44:28
Lowry is aribo's ready made replacement. Kent would be the hardest and most expensive to replace. Hope Kent and Morelos sign new deals, Gio has got Morelos firing again.

47.) 16 Jun 2022
16 Jun 2022 10:03:54
I love Aribo but if he isn't prepared to sign a new deal then I would move him on.
I love Morelos but if he isn't prepared to sign a new deal then time to cash in.
Both fit the business model of buying cheap and hopefully move on for decent money. But we have let both enter the final year of there deal.
Kent is far too inconsistent for the money we paid for him and doesn't fit the business model. If he signs a new deal I'd still try to cash in on him and get someone on the left who can create and score goals. Unfortunately profit won't be great for what we paid for him and I'm sure Liverpool are due a sell on percentage?
It would also freshen up the side.
All sounds simple in theory.

48.) 16 Jun 2022
16 Jun 2022 13:15:39
The players mentioned won’t be easy to replace but looking at the stats for both Morelos and Kent you can see how important they are to the team in terms of goals ( Morelos) Assists ( Kent ) .
Hard to predict who will stay but If anyone was to leave it might be easier to replace Aribo or Kamara.

49.) 16 Jun 2022
16 Jun 2022 13:21:41
Gdog. Kjaer never played for Celtic mate sk al take it u refer to ajer?
He’s now being linked with a love to Everton for a lot of money after a very impressive season at Brentford.
Only problem seems to be Everton don’t value him at the price Brentford are looking for.

1 year left on a deal for a player normally valued at say £15-20m? Then £10m would be great business.

50.) 16 Jun 2022
16 Jun 2022 13:41:23
MPH - Kent’s stats are impressive especially his assists.
?personally I hope he stays.

51.) 16 Jun 2022
16 Jun 2022 14:50:00
His assists stats are impressive, Copland1.
But his goal scoring record is terrible and his crossing accuracy stats are horrendous.

52.) 16 Jun 2022
16 Jun 2022 18:00:00
I want to see all three stay with new contracts and I want to see Bassey's contract being extended. These guys would ideally be the nucleus of a Team that could dominate Scottish Football and progress well in Europe. I would also like to see us sign a top quality goalkeeper, a quality right winger, a top class box to box striker and a good quality back up striker.
Add to that, bring in some of the young lads and get rid of guys like Simpson that just don't fit.

Unfortunately, I suspect that this is a bit of a pipe dream but I live in hope!

53.) 16 Jun 2022
16 jun 2022 19:21:47
it is a massive pipedream bb, i totally agree with ace and mph.

54.) 17 Jun 2022
17 Jun 2022 11:30:30
Tom, there are two problems that I see. The first one is there a Club out there that will give us the fee that we want to sell our top players and second, if we lose our top players will we sign players that are as good or better or do we have someone on our books currently that is as good.

While we have seen rumours in the Press over the past couple of years regarding Kent and Morelos nothing has materialised and I don't see anything different happening this summer. As a consequence if they don't sign an extension, we run a real risk of losing them for nothing. The same can be said for Aribo.

With regards to incoming transfers, while it is early days the acquisitions of the last two transfer windows don't fill me with confidence. We already need a replacement for Itten, arguably an additional centre half, we still don't have a quality right winger and some of us feel that if McGregor goes that we will need a quality keeper. A lot of work still to be done and that is before we find replacements for players such as Bassey that might be sold if the right offer materialises. There is a lot of work to be done for us just to stand still!
