Quite disappointed in this tbh. Three of the most talented players to come through our youth academy in recent times all left before making a name for themselves at us. Gilmour, Patterson and now Wilson. Yes Patterson played some games and we got a hefty fee but these are players you want to see at the club for years. Two left for pretty much **** all before a bell was even kicked for the first team. I get that’s football nowadays but still disappointing. Saying he’s going to make a name for himself down south, be nice if he could have done that here for us. Meant to be rangers fans but more interested in money. Plenty time to chase that he’s 16! I’d say he had more chance of breaking into our first team before villas. Hey ho all the best! Nice to see Lowry and King show a bit loyalty and sign deals even though they were also being chased by EPL teams.

Monty we simply couldn't turn down the money everton offered us for patterson, wilson and gilmour didn't want to stay with us, nothing the club can do about players not wanting to sign contracts.

Always a risk giving players this age massive contracts. Some pay off, most don’t. Just look at the two boys from Celtic recently, both released on free I think?
