What development fee for Robbie? Didn't realise our 3rd choice keeper was out of contract. If you're meaning Ross that was part of the Wright deal I'm sure. I think your Lewis would be a good addition for SPL. He is a solid league player that has all the attributes to be a good addition to our squad. To me he reminds me of Scott Arfield. Maybe not as complete a player but he is still young. Get these he's not good enough comment all the time. Just look back at Ryan Jack, John lundstrum, loads have came in and proved fans wrong.

We need Scottish players to meet euro squad rules! That’s the thinking behind souttar, ferguson and even Scott wright at the time. Mcgregor possibly retiring and arfield contract running out so that would be 2 out 2 in. We need 4 players trained by the club and 4 players trained by other clubs in Scotland. We have mccrorie, king, Lowry and greegsy, 3 from other clubs wright jack arfield… souttar in would be 4. Assuming Ferguson possible replacement for arfield? Due to us not having enough over the last few seasons it has meant first team players are missing out on euro squads! He can score and do the dirty work, decent signing in my eyes!

I agree wholeheartedly with John25 that we need players signed who will make the difference in our starting 11,as i've no doubt we'll lose some of our first team players this summer 🤔.

I was meaning for next season John, both are now 18 years of age and been at the club 3 or more years. I know the rules but some on here clearly don’t since they want no Scottish players we are ever linked with! Kelly and mcpake won’t be here next season in my eyes. English league 2 standard. I had high hopes for Kelly but he never got a look in after a strong pre season. On the bench for Salford recently. Doubt he will be near any euro squads pal.

Lewis Ferguson appears to split the support every time a transfer to us is muted and personally I would take a risk if we could secure his transfer for £2.00m.

Let's be honest, he is a young lad, still developing, and would have 100% support if he was to sign given his family association with the club.

While I understand that we want to up the quality of player signed this close season and we will need to bring in a number of new players, I would ask the question, what alternatives are there out there, especially if we are looking at building a better quality squad than what we have just now.
