One 'report' led to two more fliers. With the money the Magpies are about to spend in the summer, the boy wouldn't get a look in. I know lots of clubs admire him but I think (hope) he'll stay and cement his place in the team next season.

John I'm hoping wilson stays but considering what's possibly being offered by other clubs in england it doesn't look good for us, very difficult to compete financially with english clubs, I was looking at our players wages earlier and a few stood out to me as being a complete waste of money, itten and simpson are both on around 10k a week each, both have been poor signings and no future with us I'd much rather we spent some of their wages on lowry and wilson who both seem to have big futures in the game.

We offered Oforboh (the other lad from bournemouth) roughly 8k a week and brandon barker a bit more than that. Why can't we offer lowry or wilson something close to Oforboh. offer them a route to first team. Could only be good for us.

Manchester City are now rumoured to be interested in Lowry. That being the case I fear that we will lose him which would be a sad reflection of the State of Scottish Football and our ability to hold on to quality youngsters.
