Another signing in the door today guys?

Who’s it going to be.

2.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 09:03:31
Am hoping for att mid that's in the starting 11 or impact player from bench.

3.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 09:15:40
Rather worrying financially imo if we don't go and spend a bit. Even 3mill of the patterson/ gerrard money. Need to win this league hopefully were not just going to be taking kids on loan.

4.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 09:19:05
Wilson did say what if we sold anyone, the money would be reinvested for new players, let's see if he means it.

5.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 09:22:54
Surely a permanent signing (midfielder) has to be done this Window :)

6.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 09:30:41
Bang on Paul, the board should hang they’re head in shame if they don’t reinvest part of the money they’ve generated. This is too big a season and although Celtic are very fragile they have improved.

7.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 09:43:25
No point buying if there is no one at the table wanting to come!

I want a perm deal but it does have to be right for the club and not the player!

8.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 10:16:45
Crystal Palace teenager Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.

9.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 10:20:27
So a few of you think we should just go out and spend money for the sake of it. I would be happier if we don't sell anyone.

10.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 10:23:55
Paul I agree 100%.

11.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 10:38:38
Hang their head in shame 😂😂😂😂😂😂.

12.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 11:00:49
No matter what happens in this window the board don't in any way need to hang there head in shame, oud board have season after season put in millions in soft loans, approximately 20/ 30 million according to my memory bank, we have a business model that we are following, its almost complete to be self financing, so whatever the board does i support with buying my season ticket every year and they are great stewards of my small contribution to our cause, this is a rumour site, sometimes it can get a little distracted, however GvB is still unbeaten, we have a great squad and its not that long ago i remember being humiliated by Celtic many times over a short period, so my fellow bears enjoy 55,bask in the glory and sit back and watch history unfold in our 150th year, watp.

13.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 11:43:59
Definitely can’t spend for sake of it though one more real quality player could further freshen things up - if we don’t get anyone in as long as we don’t sell the squad is looking strong and team for parkhead could be stronger if we do get soutter and Jack/ davis is fit enough to start - meaning mcgregor, tav, gold, sout, baras, Jack, kamara, aribo, Kent, diallo, Roofe - arfield, sands, lund, Sakala, Lowry, bassey on bench - I think that is a good enough team to go there and win and with helander, Davis, morelos, balogun still to come back things looks good to me 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

14.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 12:22:42
Only people are who should hang there heads in shame is the idiots putting daft post like that up.

15.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 12:28:05
Hang their head in shame What a ridiculous comment .

16.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 12:46:43
Agree with you GDOG, january is well noted for inflated prices and panic buying, no clubs want to sell their best players in january, but agents will try and offload their dross on to us, the club are on the track in my opinion, we have all our injured players coming back now, If a good player comes up at the right price then yes . go for it.

17.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 13:01:14
What’s the point in all the soft loans and building the team to then miss out on the champions league money because we’re penny pinching in this window. We’ve sold players to reinvest, I’m not suggesting they put they’re hand in their own pocket but they must have a look at themselves if we miss out on the champions league money. Christ, they’ll need to give us more soft loans next season…. 😂😂😂.

18.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 13:10:07
I always wondered what would happen if public figures took some internet peoples' demands seriously and actually literally hung their heads in shame. Like stood there and bowed their heads down. How would that help anyone even if they did it.

19.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 13:15:23
A really think we need an attacking midfielder who can carry the ball instead of passing sideways or back to goldson need someone with imagination think dialllo on palate is a good signing whether he cuts it up here is another question, a think we need another striker tbh itten isn’t good enough roofe isn’t reliable enough, a would get souttar in to partner goldson going to the piggery next week a like Bassey but not a centre back for me.

20.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 13:32:51
In no way should board hang Thier head in shame but all these people saying they have put all this money in yes but that's also an investment as the converted loans to shares so when we get back to champions league level their shares will go up and they will get their money back and possibly profit too, so I wouldn't be heralding them either but they are trying to be sensible. Happy we have diallo gives us the balance we need everywhere else is pretty much covered sure an attacking mid would be great but not really needed right now as we have gotten by for the last year and a half without a top one.

21.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 13:35:04
loyaist - -agreed with your comments until the 'we have a great squad' bit.
its been clear to everyone the last 3 or 4 games -we do NOT have a great squad - most them were frees, bosmans, loans to buy, guys carrying injuries or this week teenagers?
i think we need to be expecting more this season of all seasons, the CL is make or break for us and we should be pushing the envelope a bit.
unforunately i think we are too late and any signings now would be almost a panic move
the likelihood of Kamara and maybe 1 other going gives me the fear as well.

22.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 16:37:34
Agree paul, we've got nearly 17million in the last few months, not sure why we haven't spent some of it, especially considering how important winning the league is financially this year.

23.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 16:54:49
Some people amaze me, if board had not fronted up with money we would have no club to support or a club that did not compete, get a grip of reality.

24.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 17:18:23
Why is it worrying that we are not spending money? We are bringing in players of a good standard. We will definitely have paid a fee for the loan. I would rather we kept the Patterson money if our management team believe we can win the league. I personally think that if we have the talent in place we wait till the summer to bring in players. Better value and then there is a better market with free transfers.

25.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 17:20:40
Just because we have money in our pocket doesn’t mean you have to spend it. Needs to be the right players at the right price. If the players we want to improve our squad are not available then we move on or go again in the summer.

Some people seem to be happy just to spend the cash.

26.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 18:08:39
Go out spend money just because some punters demand it and end up with more benchwarmers and sub standard players, or believe in the process and the scouting department to identify players that will improve the starting eleven and add quality competition for places. Not to mention there's 4 or 5 first team players all just coming back. Lord have mercy.

27.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 18:11:19
Aye you're right. Taking the biggest young talent at man United outside greenwood is rubbish isn't it? Let's us get a winger in the summer when the window isn't inflated. McAtee will be an 18 month loan then his contract expires. Imagine being raging we aren't spending mental money when aribo, kamara and morelos cost a grand total of 1.25m.

28.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 18:13:33
Some say board should hang head in shame, how many still remember us going bust, or 80 million board members have converted to shares.

Without them we would not be where we r and won 55.

29.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 18:14:33
Ridiculous. Don't forget King wasn't a one man band! The current Board were absolutely vital in chasing off Ashley, recruiting Gerrard and Wilson, restoring pride and delivering 55. Such short memories from some so called supporters.

Spending money isn't always the answer. If we spent money rather than promote youth you could kiss goodbye the £12m from the Patterson deal you so desperately want to see spent.

I have absolutely no doubt the Board will spend. but it has to be right for the club and our current financial state. Spending because the other side of the city is spending isn't our model and (I hope) never will be again. We have invested in wages, backroom teams, scouting, youth, the stadium and the training ground. these things promote sustainability.

30.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 18:11:03
Loyalist 100% agree mate. Infuriates me when folk say about the board. They have plugged gaps, backed managers, we can't expect it to go on forever. Keeping aribo, kent, alfie, kamara, Goldson IMO is more important than just buying for the sake of it.

31.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 18:13:13
We may have a model but we have waisted a lot of money. The last window it was mainly loans. The board have backed Gerrard let's be honest not all signings have been great. Of those singing how many have we sold for profit. Thankfully our players are retuning from injury. If we could offload our driftwood then maybe we could get someone in. How much has our board invested? And not loaned us? Then we can't buy players instead we need to pay them the loan back. Let's hope the boad back Gio in the summer not only if we win the league.

32.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 18:20:33
So some posters want the shameful board of directors to splash out and put the club at financial risk? Seems to me they are being sensible although that may not satisfy the desire of many for new players in the door.

33.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 18:51:48
Great reply 2blue. I don’t always agree with u but u have covered this very well.

34.) 28 Jan 2022
28 Jan 2022 18:52:25
John25 I agree but can also see where other are coming from when you look at contracts running out how many are getting ready to leave might be best to get them in now to settle for next year especially if younger players doesn't mean we have to spend big transfer fees though plenty of decent players out of contract to be had.
