The young lad maxwell has been offered a new 1 year extension to contract that expires end of the season but has 4 clubs including Leeds after him.

Bellshill by offering him a contract even if he does not sign it it gets us more compensation.
However I would hope he signs it, with option of another year, get him out on loan to top league or mb championship in England. See if he delivers.

I’m sure I read an interview where he said he recognised he needed to move to get first team football. He said he had gone out on loan like rangers had asked but still wasn’t near first team due to form of Barasic and Bassey which is fair enough.

I think if we are going to use Bassey as a CH then we would need Maxwell as cover for Barasic now Patterson is gone?

Not seen much of Maxwell at all to have an opinion but what I have seen he looks like he could be a very good player, if Hibs lose Doig, I’d try loan him to them.
We have a very good young right back in the b team I like the look of but can’t remember his name and also the boy who wore 8 in the game against city strollers or whatever you call them looked a really good player on the right of 3 man midfield.

Stevie when hibs thought they were losing doig in summer they made move to sign maxwell and Kelly, came to nothing

B team right back is Adam Devine, highly rated.

I think the right midfielder could be Murray Millar or Arron Lyall. Millar looks a good player but the pick for me is Alex Lowry.
