Have been told goldson is going nowhere and we are quite happy to allow him to leave for free at the end of the season. We are still hopeful that he will extend No point trying to settle another CB in as we are expecting closer title race. CL money is worth more than selling goldson. I was also told that kamara will sign the new contract with a gentleman agreement in place that club won't stand in his way if his valuation is met.
Told that Simpson might be heading out on loan if the Dutch lad can be signed in January window. We will do similar deal to kamara try get him on bosman then bring in cheap to settle for next season. Was also told that we are working still to get Veerman. Hopefully January if not end of season. Trying to complete a deal before national call up or we could be priced out a deal.

Counter productive to sell for small fee half way through the season with Gerrard hoping we would win title and Goldson to be swayed by Champions league.
