Heard rumours of Josh Doig coming in as a replacement for BB if he was to leave today. Around £12m for BB and £3-4m on Doig.

Doig is a good player but if we are paying £4m I would like to think that our scouts could find a better player at that money.

He was young payer of the year last season over Patterson. he knows the league so won’t be a risk like being in a player from another league. and with our coaching team will only get better. so I’d be happy with doig although I’d still rather just keep borna.

Doig is an excellent young prospect. Bassey has looked great this year so both can push each other on and rotate.

A future with Robbie Mcrorie, Nathan Patterson and Josh Doig in our defence is exciting.
