Could have dropped Arfield, he was like a man down tonight. Sorry to say it but I think he is past it. That was a very poor display from him tonight. We need to be a lot better next week right across the pitch. Hopefully Morelos will be back because Itten just doesn't have it. It is one thing to score in friendlies but tonight he looked lost at times. That apart I don't believe that Goldson will have as poor a game again all season and worryingly, the lack of games showed for Barasic who wasn't his usually self and Tav had another of his daft moments giving the ball away in his own half that lead to the goal. We need to get in about them next week and we need to up our game considerably.

Arfield wasn’t only passenger tonight, the defence was shocking apart from helander, and Kent never beat a man all night he had a very poor game as well tonight, am not a believer in one man makes a team but Morelos not playing is a massive miss in these types of game.

For me our defence were brilliant first half and big itten played a blinder …. Holding up ball well and bringing others into play . Fought like a tiger until he ran out of steam .

These games so early are always difficult. Especially against teams that have started their season much earlier. Clearly not quite up to pace tonight. That goals saves it though. We'll get through now I reckon.

Blue in my blood. Jones was born in Redcar. First at Middlesbrough Hartlepool. Came to killie in 2016 then us there’s not a Scottish home grown player mate.

Shagger, sorry but a lone striker needs to be capable of playing the role and you admitted that he is not suited to that role. Yes, he held the ball up well but his role as the main striker is to put the ball in the back of the net and his strike rate is not good. He is well behind Morelos, Roofe and even the ageing Defoe. Admittedly, he received less than no support last night from Arfield who had his poorest game in a Rangers jersey. Maybe if Hagi had been given the role that Arfield played things would have been different. That we will never know and right now I am concerned that without Roofe, Kamara and potentially, Morelos, we will struggle because the backup players available do not appear to be up to speed.
