From what I was hearing today him and his agent are on a sticky wicket. Rangers not happy about a quote where he talks about working with Moyes a top coach. Lad is good player with big potential but thinks he should walk into our first team. Would get rid with deal similar in set up to Gilmour.

We’re just not big on given young ones a chance as we were in a position to stop Celtic and we need champs league football
So coaching team not trusting to rely on young ones coming in to play big roles in these important big games?

But we should give them cup games I’d rather concentrate on league and European football and let the young lads have a right go at giving us a run in Scottish cups etc. ?

Can't blame agent or players wanting to move on especially to Premier league. We have such a poor track record of playing youth that it's not like they believe they will be given a chance. I'd much rather have players like him on the bench than the likes of Barker Jones Hastie Stewart. Patterson Kelly etc might not play tons but look at the excitement they create with the fans.

Kaiser last ten years 7 off it our youth terrible. It did not start to change till gerrard came in.
Unfortunately Gilmour was not staying. He had agreed to go to Chelsea before he was old enough to play for us.

If Kennedy good enough for 1st team squad get him in there. From what I’ve seen whilst promising not currently good enough. 6 month loan to Hearts best option IMO.

Great point John. Ability will only get you so far, you need right attitude determination, commitment and to be humble on and off the park.
I know the boy personally and he blocked a lot of his friends he grew up with from social media, drives about in a new Merc and thinks he’s already made it.
If he can be as grounded as Patterson he has a good chance to break through as ability wise he’s very good.
