Second time I've been told that we will announce a signing next week to coincide with the Real Madrid game and hopefully whoever it is will play in that game. No names given just that it's a player we are paying quite a bit for. Anyone any ideas or heard similar?

The board have also never said they are signing anyone else next week Gerrard never mentioned anything either no one will come in unless a player leaves for millions you just want to believe but it's not happening.

Whether we like it or not we ain't signing someone like Veerman unless someone goes.
This was stated last year that we can't continue to pay transfer fees without player sales.
If we sell Kamara then I'd believe we would replace him with someone like veerman bit we ain't spunking £6/ £7 million without a player going out. that's just a fact.

I’m sure there is interest but not the values being touted.

Can’t see Kamara going to Hammers with Czech lad there saying he’s a liar.

And Morelos news is boring now.

SG said one on the way very soon ( Lundstrum was the best day ) and another quite a bit down the line in talks ( for me that Moreno from what I’m hearing )

Pretty sure fringe will be out one way or another.

John, was the article you read about selling Morelos and Kamara after £14m update? The update is that the Athletic reported Rangers had a £14m shortfall to plug before heading into this season. Don’t think it means selling the players for £14m. Title of the article is misleading.

BAR72 we also need to stay competitive and qualify for champions league group stage. It's true we will sell to do that but it would be madness not to mention bad business to allow 2 of our biggest assets to go for half of what they are worth. Both could go but from what I know Gerrard won't allow the players to go for pennies. He is actively trying to block Morelos leaving as he thinks he could be the difference when qualifying for group stage.
