It's been confirmed that as Billy gilmour made the champions league final sqaud there was add ons agreed with Chelsea. There us expected add on for Gilmour to make his competitive game for Scotland and also reported that gers have a very lucrative sell on aswell. All very smart by gers but I thought you couldn't have sell on fees and add ons etc as he was only 15 at the time he moved to Chelsea?

To avoid a tribunal as he was developed by Rangers, Chelsea agreed a £500k fee plus bonuses for becoming full International.
Not sure about Champions league bonuses (possibly winning it) or sell on clause but possible.

Our head of youth said in an interview that we are continuing to make money from the Gilmour deal. I think it was a great bit of business and a model that we will follow in future situations. Can see any youth sold will go with a sell on clause, buy back clause, international appearance fee, appearance fees. Will be a completely different set up now.

Having spoken to an individual who is involved in some off these type of deals he is sure we have a small sell on clause for Gilmour and mebube.

John25,you say that there's a small sell on clause, how can that be as he signed his first professional contract at sixteen, we were only due they development fee, which Chelsea paid handsomely for, with add ons i believe, which has been discussed, however a sell on clause would have been a bridge to far for me.

I think the 2 million will be small fish compared to the sell on fee. If he keeps developing the way he is I reckon we could get the same again easily.
