Anyone else heard kamara stalling on contract extension, he's still got 2 years left but think he will be away in the summer along with hagi. Borna seems to be very happy at the club thot with his age it would have been a good time to cash in but bugger it let's keep the big man until he retires. Bar 1 all croatians at ibrox have become fans favourites.

yes I think he is Paul, but he won't be the only one who goes, we will sell, 20m in sales will be probably what the board wants, maybe more, it won't be ridiculous " nothing less than " quotes by some , but a certain amount in will be in their plans for the immediate future, can't possibly expect them to just keep paying the bills, the business plan is crucial, I think kamara will definitely go, I think hagi may go, for around 4,5m, I think at least one of the defence will go, possibly Tav and Connor may fancy the epl before its too late, and alfie of course could go at any minute, fir around 12 15 I believe, maybe more, who knows mate, and Kent is also valuable so its obvious cash needs to come in, and anything can happen , something may already be agreed or offers given to players covertly, it happens since I was a boy, the close season offers players the chance to leave quietly without the heartbreak, or fear of facing the fans wrath, if yiu know what I mean, and players who have been approached will have a lot to think about, especially if the epl comes into they're focus, and the chance of a life changing deal and the cash that come with that, so yeah I think kamara will be offski, take the cash when its high or you lose.

Good post tom. Yes think it be very niave to think we don't need to sell a couple atleast to balance books. Bathgate the bar 1 i had in mind was Kranjcar due to him being passed it and slower than a week in the jail.

I'm still hearing the same about Kent - refusing to sign offer on table.
And Goldson is in the last year of his deal and if he doesn't agree a new contract, I can see him leaving as well.
And I'm sure Kamara posted a cryptic clue the other week so I think he's away as well.

I received a message from a friend who works in the media yesterday, it said that Kamara has refused a new contract and wants to move away. Arsenal seems to be his preferred location and they seemingly have made tentative enquiries. Serious money in the transfer if true.

Guess only time will tell but my feeling is that Kent, Kamara and Barasic may be going with Goldson undecided but will go to an EPL team if he gets the opportunity.

Goldson for me will be the most difficult to replace due to his consistency.

Not sure Hellander will be with us next season.

I think if we get 25 million in sell on fees we won't be far off. wether that's in 1 transfer or 2 or 3. The board made it clear we need to sell to balance the books. Replaced with cheap or free players, . with the euros this summer then I presume there won't be much activity on the selling front if international players so if we are selling then I hope its after our champions league fate is decided.

A lot of managerial moves in England going on and probably more to come, can’t see a real rush for any of our players until things settle down south.
Kamara to Arsenal not sure where that comes from. Goldson to EPL . he was there with Brighton can’t see a rush from any team for him. I know it’s a banter and rumours site but be realistic, our club doing things right these days, they will inform us all when anything happens . unlike the other mob who are touting their layers left right and centre. really Ajer and Christie 8 million, all tosh.
Agree we need to balance the books, I do think we will perhaps lose Alfie or Kent as for me they would attract best offers . both 20 million rated by me. 🇬🇧55.

The 2 things we must do I'd selling our top performers us firstly get top money for them. Some of the values I'm hearing are ridiculously on the low side. And secondly we must replace any player that departs with someone just as good if not better. I get we need to balance the books but we can't do what Celtic did and settle for average replacements
We are being linked with some seriously talented bosman players just now. 2 midfielders in lunchtime and ozcan look outstanding players that would complement our current players. Add the 2 CBs in the young Dutch lad and the African playing in Sweden both held in high regard that wouldn't cost the world. Just now I think most players are replaceable but can't see us selling more than 3 at most in any season.
For me personally I think Goldson and Morelos will both stay for a cracking at the champions league next season. Kent, Hagi and Kamara are replaceable within a decent budget. For me if Borna goes we must move for the lad Doig from Hibs. Personally think he is every bit as good as Kennedy. Tavs replacement is already here with Patterson. Davis and McGregor we will get 1 more full season out of as I think both could slow down after this season.

We certainly can't afford to sell our top five players if we have any designs on reaching the Group Stages of the Champions League and want to win the league next season. It would be sheer folly, even if we did have players ready to come in. I reckon we could afford to lose Goldson and Hagi but I would be looking for at least £20m for those two. If Kamara was to go, (and I have heard that he wants back to Arsenal), then I would expect £12m to £15m for him. I don't believe that we can afford to lose Kent and even if we retained all our players I still believe that we need another two or three on top of what we have if we are to progress. Our current squad lacks quality in depth and as Gerrard has already highlighted, every time we bring in a player they need to be better than what we have. Following that logic, if Kamara and Hagi are transferred then we need to replace them with better players. Yes, we need to balance the books, but reaching the Group stages in Europe this coming season and retaining our league title will go a long way to doing this.

For me the 2/ 3 Bankers that will be leaving is Goldson Kamara and possibly Hagi and that will be because Goldson and Kamara want to play in Epl and Hagi cause we can't guarantee that he will be played every game and his Dad thinks he is the bees knees and should be in a bigger league, and that will balance out the books and give us some cash to bring in a few few players hopefully Ferguson Doige and Nesbit and maybe a big Centre back (not Scottish) cause I believe they are good players and being Scottish really helps in Eutope CB not Scottish cause can't see a good enough one out there. then that would be our business done.
