Neil McCann would be a great choice IMO I’d he were interested, Defoe is an obvious choice as player coach. Arfield has 2/ 3 years football left in him yet.

6 counties that’s a very harsh judgement of one our own scotty arfield he has 1 more year in him a t rangers and will then likely go back to Falkirk for the last 2 years of his career, if not someone else in the epl. Scott browns just signed a 2 year deal at Aberdeen so to say arfield doesn’t have anything to offer anyone is really quite a disrespectful statement mate.

It would be great if Defoe gets involved with some coaching even in a small capacity. The impact he must have on our first team never mind the youths must be incredible. Ultimate pro who's done the business everywhere he's been. The guy just oozes class and I hope he stays with us for a while because if your a young prospect then what a player to be around every day.

Bellshilllad. My son went through more than a few of his training sessions at the sfa programme. His drills were very technical and a joy to watch. The guy was a diff level from your James gradys or Scott booths. The boys loved his sessions. They blinked and it was done amd wanted more. 👍.

Cathro is a terrific coach especially at bringing on youths and his drills are a joy I'm told . he's maybe not manager material but excellent coach.
