Not a number 9 he will play in 1 of our 3 forward positions probably the Right of the 3. Quick and Powerful but if Alfredo goes I would imagine Roofe will be main man I. Middle and this boy will be either impact player from bench or play in either of the 2 forward positions either side of main striker where he can utilise his pace more.

Roofe is not an out an out striker and never will be of fredo goes we need a top class replacement and it’s not roofe.

Yeah I’m Not really Impressed overall with roofe. Taking everything into consideration I’d say he’s been a disappointment and not justified the money spent or the wages. I think he’s a good player but I would move him on 💯.

I suspect we will sign at least one more striker, two if Morelos is sold. I see both Salaka and Roofe as forwards that are not out and out strikers. We have been watching the lad at Brentford and also the lad at Middlesborough. I see us signing one if not both of these guys. I don't see us giving Defoe a new contract unless there is a coaching role attached and I don't see Itten as an option to lead the front line. We need to build our squad up, get rid of players like Stewart, Jones, etc., and as Gerrard himself has said we need to continue to build the quality of our squad.

i hope morelos stays at least another year i really think he has been underated this year his teamwork has come on leaps and bounds from previous seasons. i hope sakala is decent but i think the belgian league is vastly over rated quality of football wise however you can't argue with a free transfer. i very much liked the look of the boy from morecombe looks two footed and an eye for a pass as well as some guile and invention perfect punt player for me. veerman is a no go no way we will pay 12million euro for a guy who gets homesick on international duty never mind leaving country for club football. no chance. i'd 100% love andreas skov olsen to sign can't see it happening though with his recent performances for denmark.
