Hagi's old man is apparently seething at his son's lack of game time and that he took no part in the Celtic match, and if he has his way his boy will be on the move - again. He has supposedly approached representatives of Red Bull asking if they can do anything with one of the teams they sponsor (control) .
His dad seems to have an unhealthy influence over the lad's career. He gave him his senior debut, made him captain of the team he was managing at the time when Ianis was just 16 and he is always lurking in the background. A rumour, but it does come from Romania.

Said it long ago, and il stand by it, the boy will go through many clubs in Europe, never settle or hold a position down, it will be about money,

He’s that type of player, never ever worth what some here seem to believe, mainly based on about 10 great passes.

Agree tt don't think he's anywhere as good as some believe.

And yet Hagi stepped up and delivered goals and assists when others were playing poorly.

Tom I think you’re right however I would say I think hagi has a decent football brain and has obviously worked hard developing his skills and has a good work ethic. I just don’t think we play a system that suits him. I think he needs to be in the middle linking midfield and striker type of player. I do believe he will finish his career much traveled.

Think your being a little harsh on hagi TT. Don't think many on here claim he's a world beater but he's a good season.
He's played 40 games so far this season, 7 goals, 12 assists.

I like Hagi great wee player at our level, can only improve and make us money same as Kent in that he’s been inconsistent and lightweight since he arrived but will improve have a belter of a season next season and move on for a decent wage for us.

Stepped up? .

It’s what he is paid for, stepped up indeed, amazing what my name can conjure, he’s playing for Rangers on very big money, he can’t get a game, he’s expected to “ step up”

Do you think Rangers pay him for nothing?

Deep, who said a word about airfield?

kJ, have a lie down warrior.

Hagi has talent that's clear to see but what the boy needs is a few seasons at the same club where he could settle in and develop. Unfortunately I think his father's influence will destroy his career. Moving for financial not footballing reasons. I think give jim couple years with us he will be a top attacking talent.

What do the stats say about Hagi this season?

Hopeless or maybe integral to our goals against certain types of opposition?

Different opponents need a different approach.

Hagis 21 don't forget. he has most certainly played his part since he's came to gers. Remember braga for 1. if Paterson has couple bad games we gona sell him too.

Hagi is good for us, but certain games don't suit certain players. If we played a 4-2-3-1 i'd see Hagi getting more games in the No10 but in big games when we go for 3 sitting in the middle he will always be sacrificed because wide right of the forward 3 doesn't suit him (or another way of looking at it is that Aribo is a better option out there) . Gerrard got his tactics spot on against Celtic. Aribo was excellent in the forward right role and Arfield gave more bite in with Davo and Kamara in the middle.

I didn’t say sell him did I?

I said he will get through plenty of clubs because he’s that type of player

I think hagi will still be here next season, he will progress and play a bigger part for us, remember the likelihood is that Kent will be going to Leeds for £15+M so hagi could take his place with another young promising player coming in to challenge him.
I do see him moving the following summer probably to Italy for decent money. I then think he’ll end up in Spain after that. He’s a technically very gifted player with a great brain and good numbers many clubs would be interested in him when he finds his top form.
