Lewis Ferguson, Ross McCrorie were two players I thought would have been good Rangers’s players. Spent a bit of time trying to see how they were getting on and they have definitely found their level. Surely young Ferguson must be saying to himself I need to get out of here to at least have a chance of playing with better players and coaching staff!

I honestly don't get all the negativity toward Ferguson, good young player who will get better with the coaching regime at Rangers. Being honest, how excited were you all when we were signing Kamara or Wright? I hope we sign Ferguson, bring him home!

I don't understand the negativity towards Ferguson, Hagi didn't hit the ground running, if he was to come, he would be around better players, better coaching staff and all round better enviroment. Not to take anything away from Aberdeen's. Gerrard would make him a better player and he is at the right age for the improve and Move business model.

IMHO, he's been woeful anytime he's played against Rangers and the only memorable part of his game against us, is the numerous leg breaking tackles against our players.
And even though Aberdeen are rank rotten just now, has his performances still been ok? No, and that says it all for me.
He doesn't stand out. You can be a good young player in Scotland - that doesn't mean you are good enough for Rangers.
But it's all about opinions and if Rangers take a huge risk on him, I'll support that decision.

Plus we don't have the finances to continually buy every young player that someone rates on here.
We are trying to bring money in.
We would need to spend the following on 3 players who might not be good enough or just to sit on the bench🤔
Ferguson - £3+ million
Nisbett - £3+ million
Doig - £2+ million
And that's before we get to wages.

Thestigno1,i can see certain traits in Campbell's game that is similar to ryan jack, although he's not as good as jack! When we signed jacko there's not many of us thought we would see him become the midfielder he's become for rangers, under the guidance/ coaching of gerrard, gary mac, beale etc👌 Who's to say we can't/ wouldn't be able to take Campbell's game up a couple of levels 🤔 Into the bargain he's a free agent, not like lewis ferguson who would cost anything between £2-£3million🤔Its a no brainer for me as i hand on heart rate campbell better than ferguson 🤔.

Sgl I spoke on here regarding Allan Campbell in previous transfer windows and was told by a guy I trust that no interest. The guy I trust had an excellent source who I’m not naming as the last time I was mocked by the usual suspects. I do think Campbell is decent, don’t know how much he’d improve or if he’d make the grade but that’s only my opinion.

Respect your opinion coops, but Ryan Jack and kamara were way better than Campbell when we signed them. Rangers were also weaker squad wise. Anybody coming in now should be an upgrade on what we have, that's how a team evolves and improves. Csmpbell is nowhere near the level we should be aiming for 👍.

I’ve said before in here if the scouting team see potential in young Scots why not pick them up you see Ferguson for example performing well in a honkin Aberdeen team, why can’t he improve like a Kamara when they have better players around them? He was coming out of contract tho, and had a good grounding at arsenal. we csnt afford a 3m punt on Ferguson to sit on bench. Need to be wise with the money gone are the days of buying all the best from other Scottish clubs. Imo the players we buy this season have to be upgrades on what we have, as that's how you get stronger.

Reckon ferguson wouldn't be any worse than kamara or Jack when we signed them except he is younger. Everyone was underwhelmed with both. Lost count of how many people said they weren't good enough. Ferguson has potential and if developed properly could become a good box to box midfielder. But we would be buying in the hope that he develops. Think if the price was right he could develop into the next kamara or Jack.
