Defoe could be finished at rangers morelos could be sold so we would need 1 or 2 strikers as we would be left with roofe n itten stevie likes to have 4 strikers same as centre backs etc fighting for position wich is s good thing keeps them all on there toes if they want to play.

He has certainly been off the boil in terms of goals but that could quite easily be Warnock's pragmatic style. I wish he was the same player he was when at Peterborough.

Gerrard seems to have a way of taking an "off the boil" player and getting him back to his best. Still not sure why we bought Hastie, and one or two others don't seem to making it, but overall the development, or redevelopment, of players has been outstanding.

Good goalscorer a few seasons ago, been a bit iffy recently but Middlesbrough have been pretty poor.

I agree with both mrgrumpy and paul86, regarding britt assombalonga 👍 He's out of contract at middlesborough, so if we can get him as a free agent and he recaptures the form he had at peterborough and notts forest, then without question he'd be a tremendous signing for us and a no brainer for me!

Everything would depend on his contract details, there’s lots of aspects to a contract nowadays, may be the boy would earn more cash outside of engl, depending on what him and his agents signed up to, it’s happened before that players have agreement not to sign for a rival in return for better terms.

We need 2 strikers in my opinion. Morelos will off soon and i don't think Itten is good enough to be honest. I would keep Roofe as he has shown glimpses of promise and i feel Scott Wright will be a good signing . How about Dykes for the targetman option plus another £5-£10 million clinical finisher.

we need to get out of the habbit of calling 22year old players boys or youths in europe by that age they have already got oe or two big moves and have been playing first team football for 4 or 5 years. barjonas mcpake will not make it patterson has a chance let's hope leon king gets run out after old firm game. i'm not bothered about the undefeated i'd rather find out more about our fringe players itten to start for rest of season with bassey and maybe another.
