Only sharing info with my fellow bears to what i've been told. Allegedly before gerrard and wilson decided to sign cedric itten,
they had narrowed it down to a shortlist of 3 for the target man style of striker, they were looking for. The 3 striker shortlist was mirko maric, lyndon dykes and of course the striker they chose cedric itten. From what i've now seen and heard i think rangers have made the correct choice, as although i rate/ like big dykes, i do think itten looks the best striker of the 3!Thoughts guys and this is coming from a lyndon dykes fan. 🤔.

Not convinced of Itten as yet, seems quite similar to Dykes who most on here thought was not good enough, but I will reserve judgment until I have seen him play in the flesh, not on YouTube. Open mind for now, whereas in the case of Roofe I am convinced he is an excellent signing. If we are serious about toppling Celtic we should be keeping Morelos and pairing him up front with Roofe.

Just from watching YouTube I thought Roofe looked very good. Scores a lot with his head. Itten again looks very good. I just thought Roofe is more the finished article and Itten is one who will improve and possibly be the next Alfie (by that I mean improve at the club and sell on for a profit) .

I noticed Roofe and Itten both take penalties as does Hagi. Here’s hoping we find someone who can stick them away this year.

Snell / Coldo let’s see who is right, we will know after a few games. I cannot comment on Itten just now waiting to see him play a game or two, that’s all I need to decide, but I am confident of Roofe if he stays fit. 6 Counties if he had Roofe and Morelos before perhaps he would have gone with two up front?

For the last time, no matter what SGL's voices have been telling him, we were never remotely interested in this Dykes guy. He was never even on the scouting list, like Shankland was before he was rejected as a target, and the reason for that is anyone could see on the telly that he is nowhere near what we were looking for.

Orange Tinted yes correct, that's why I am reserving judgement on Itten, need to see the guy for real before I can decide, but the YouTube videos which are his highlights don't impress me that much, but one cannot make an accurate decision from YouTube. He may well turn out to be brilliant, watch this space.

guys why not play 2 up front, surely gerrard has spoken to Walter Smith at some point. when we had jalavic and Miller no one could deal with them. a love gerrard but he is playing the Liverpool way because he knows he getting that job. but he needs to play the rangers way. Its scottish football for god sake. also mcoist and hately. say no more. he is even doing the same same with taverner and barisic the way liverpool do with Robertson and Arnold, it needs to stop now lads (agree)
