Bates isn't good enough mate. He started ok at Hamburg and then his form dropped and he was sent on loan to Sheff Wed and i'm not sure if he even made an appearance.

Guys. we offered Kamberi a contract and he knocked it back. Big deal. it was becausese we could not guarentee him a start every single week. Gerard said he would play most games but not them all and he was not happy. So we dodged a bullet and thank goodness we got a rub of the blue on that one. Bates is coming. I can assure you. heard it from me first. Bates is good cover. Our centre backs get injured all the time so we need 1 more.
