According to media reports tonight, both lyndon dykes and lewis ferguson being chased by rangers and very high on steven gerrard's transfer wishlist! I'd have big dykes at ibrox in a heartbeat! 👍👌.

Dykes should've been signed in January, he's a different type of forward. Only hope they both get there chance because Gerrard never gave stewart or Jones the chances he's gave others in the team.

Would take both but i could see the Sheep playing hardball over Ferguson and asking for an unrealistic amount of dough. Pity because the lad will stagnate up there. Probably needs a move asap.

They’ll play hardball but will also be desperate for the £££.

Stuarty1872 I can see us maybe using a fringe player or 2 to sweeten the deal. Think Ferguson could be long term successor to Davis in the middle of the park. Really think he will become a top CM like his dad and uncle. Dykes is an easy sell for me. Destroyed Celtic this season and we don't have that physical target man. Could be a good plan B with little outlay.

I really hope they get signed . Two strong aggressive types. If they both want to come then it will happen. A million a piece?

I’ve mentioned Dykes on here before. I work with his cousin and have asked her regularly if the rumours of us getting him were true. She always said she didn’t think there was anything in it, but let’s wait and see! Be a different option and one I hope we would start to use more often, particularly at home when teams sit in. No need for 3 holding in the midfield. 2 striker and one of them being a target man would be ideal!

Don’t believe Dykes anywhere near good enough, going on 25 years old and did a decent turn with Queen of the South and Livingstone. Come on guys.

Bankie, he’s run Celtic ragged whenever he’s played them this season, wouldn’t command a big fee so low risk. It got much to lose bringing him in.

Sorry Fruitbear, reminds me of when we signed guys like Colin McAdam and Sandy Clark. Although a battering ram does not have great pedigree as a goal scorer. Not good enough for me.

i’d take both of them tbh lads

both have potential - obv not finnished article but around better players they cld blossom into real assets

i like the lad ferguson’s energy drive and dig in middle park he’s also bossed our modfiekd a few time and has a goal in him - i would t like to line up against him jack and arfield.

dykes is very quick, a real handful and knows where the goals are i cld see him playing up with another striker like defoe pull defences about cause problems create space.

Said it in the summer and winter windows. Dykes is a no brainer. 500k absolute max, maybe less. Will need another first choice striker to combine with in a two up front role with Defoe as a back up. Will run riot with the service he’d get and provide some height and physicality which we haven’t had for years. Means a change in style and tactics but again, a no brainer.

Fruit bear livi want two million for dykes
Aberdeen allegedly want four million.
Better value else where in these times.

I still like cambari? What’s happening to him?

I’d doubt we will pay £2m for Dykes. especially given current climate (that’s if we do even bid for him) . Time will tell I suppose but he’s definitely a player I think could do a job for us.

Molsgoals, was wondering when someone would mention Kamberi. Think he has looked very good and certainly never let us down when he got the chance. Clear he has no future at Hibs and believe we should sign him. With Morelos moving, on addition to Kamberi we need to sign a proven striker, most likely from European club.

If this is standard we are going to sign we can forget stopping Celtic.

I reckon we could use the boy stewart in the dykes deal if he would go. Good player stewart but won't and shouldn't get in our team as a starter. Sure Aberdeen could be handled the same way knock the price down and we could use a fringe player as bait maybe mccrorie and doc on loan.

18.) 18 May 2020
17 May 2020 22:24:29
I think we should be chasing the big Croatian Mirko maric form Osijek as our no1 target We have a good relationship with them and he looks a top young forward who can score goals and link the play, and Lyle Taylor of Charlton a speed machine who I’m sure would thrive learning from a fellow Englishman in Defoe both for me better options that dykes or kamberry I’d take Ferguson though I think he’s got what it takes to become a midfield enforcer!

19.) 18 May 2020
17 May 2020 23:42:58
Surely be looking at kamberi as well. big man puts a shift in.

18 May 2020 10:24:43
Kamberi has been a breath of fresh air in that team, better work rate amthan Morelos and definitely more intelligent than " Mr Blast it from a ridiculous angle " Morelos.

21.) 18 May 2020
18 May 2020 12:20:05
Was kamberi a truly good player or did he just look good because our standards dropped after winter break? He had a positive impact but had our form not nosedived would have had that same impact. For me I would be looking to take kamberi on another 6 month loan before making any decision.

How can you seriously slag off morelos? .

Some of our so called supporters. Morelos work rate is superb indeed its his work rate which creates goals. Remember most of his goals he had to make for himself. I despair sometimes.

We will be sorry when he leaves. we do not have another striker close to him in terms of goals and workrate. He was potentially going to be on 40 this season if the team hadnt collapsed and C.V. kicked in.

Morelos on his day is top notch which is undeniable, since January he was dreadful and his work rate was also way behind the standard set by himself before the new year, his discipline also took another set back with his form. Love the guy like most do but we need to look at finding the next Morelos whoever that may be and if we can get a decent price for him then it could maybe strengthen the side overall. If he stays then I’m happy with that but we will need to still sign someone to push him for his place.
