Rumour going round my home town Hull that Tom Eaves is heading to Scotland. It has to be to Glasgow surely.

Was he not a Liverpool academy boy when SG was there?

think he is 28 or so. just signed for hull and his scoring record is crap.

I wouldn't say his scoring record across the board was crap mate! Big eaves was touted when he played for gillingham, as very similar in style to big andy carroll. that's the type of striker we're needing to bring in.

Tom Eaves is rank rotten, I watched him a few times, most recently on TV. He makes Cosgrove look like a football player.

Guys these sort of players thrive in Scotland. cosgrove, dykes. eaves very similar to them in style. Defoe is and was 10 times the player they are BUT. sometimes you need to batter the door in, it won’t always just open. good options to have.

Coully, you'd like to see us sign hammer throwers? They don't 'thrive' anywhere, that's why they are playing with bog standard teams in one of the poorest leagues in Europe. No other premier division would have them.

So you don't think cosgrove has thrived in scotland covenanter? his scoring record says different mate.

More than half Sam Cosgroves goals in the last two seasons have been penalties, the guy is nowhere near the standard required to play for Rangers.

Lolza. Tom Eaves plays like he's towing a caravan.

Herewego55, if you think that scoring penalties in one of the poorest leagues in Europe is 'thriving' then you're right. All the same, I'd rather he would 'thrive' where he is and not at Rangers as we need players who can do it in Europe, not Paisley and Hamilton.
