I've said before, the understanding that Candeias and Tav have is worth it's weight in gold, no just Tav, but the squad on general, shown perfectly by Ryan Jack last week with the goal against Marseille. For me, I wouldn't have changed last season's side as much as Gerrard has, I think it was finally clicking, especially with the latter more compact shape with Arfield playing of the front 3. We were in need of defensive reinforcement and an out and out no.10 which to be fair Davis has looked like in the last few games albeit he's been further back.

Said for last 2 seasons that we cannot and will not win league with the right side was had (Candieas and Tav) now I think Tav has got better but still loses ball in high area too often. Candieas was just way too inconsistent. His delivery into the box was a one in ten and at the level we need to be at, that's not good enough. I hear all the time about his work rate, and while that is true (it being good), that should be a given as a Ranger.
So I won't be sorry to see him go.

If daniel candeias is leaving for genclerbirligi, i wish the wee man nothing but the very best of luck. He has been a good winger for us over the last couple of seasons. He absolutely loves our club and wouldn't want to go, unless he has been told that his game time this season, will be very limited. He always did play for the rangers badge, on his chest.

Candeias final ball is awful at times but other than that he is good at covering Tav when he gets forward and work his socks off with the high press forcing mistakes and turnovering possession for us.
With Ojo being utilised in both the 10 and on the Right I would have Candeias in squad all day long.

Would be less concerned if Murphy or Hastie were sold or loaned out (Hastie) as we have Jones and potentially Kent on left but what happens if Ojo looses form or gets injured? I know Hastie played on RM and cut in on left for Motherwell but I prefer DC and unless we have another RM/ W targeted as a replacement I wouldn’t sanction deal.
He is 31 and on last year of contract so no chance we would get £2m try £500k.

I love how some of you on here just ramble utter nonsense.

If Candeias had a perfect delivery 8 from 10 attempts, he would be a £20m player! He cost us 900k!

It’s the only thing he doesn’t possess. For the most part he has been a fabulous servant to Rangers. Energy, desire, work rate are impeccable. He’s a quiet lad off the field, he’s an example to younger squad. he's passionate when others are not. He’s been superb in Europe. By all accounts he's been great with Morelos. Seriously have a think, if every player had his attitude you would have a formidable team that would be incredibly hard to beat. If everyone worked like him against Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Dundee and Hibs last year, we would have won the league.

So no he can’t cross the perfect ball every time, but he has so much more than others do.

All the best wee man, your a class act, you will be missed and you will always be a Ger.
