Squad player?

2.) 13 Jun 2019

A good experienced player to have as back up to first choice players.

13 Jun 2019 18:00:13
I'll have to trust the judgement of the manager, coaches and scouts on this one. Another Kamara or another Grezda? Who knows?

4.) 13 Jun 2019
13 Jun 2019 18:05:39
A journeyman?

5.) 13 Jun 2019
13 Jun 2019 18:11:28
Did say this back in January that he would be joining us and was shot down for it by all sorts of abuse haha I told yous so got to give him a chance he is around better players now so could bring the best out in him. Darren fletcher was made to look a class act at Man Utd (which he definitely wasn’t) with the players around him came to play with Scotland and was found out how terrible he actually was.

13 Jun 2019 18:43:30
Looks like you were wrong cato. Someone on here did say a while back that we would sign stewart on a 2 year deal.

7.) 13 Jun 2019
13 Jun 2019 18:45:27
If you think Darren Fletcher was terrible then you have no clue about football. Man U fans will tell you how big a miss he was when they lost to Barcelona in the Champions League final. His problem with Scotland was that he was a terrific holding midfielder but because he played for Man U people wanted him to be Zidane.

13 Jun 2019 18:52:08
Darren Fletcher was terrible no the fact Barcelona are the better team but Man Utd lost because Darren Fletcher wasn’t playing aye ok I’ve heard some funny stuff but jeezo that’s a belter.

13 Jun 2019 20:00:44
I know what your saying grambo, he only won the 5 premier league titles, a champs league, fa cup a truly shocking player. Lucky sir alex was the man united manager and not you.

10.) 13 Jun 2019
13 Jun 2019 20:33:47
What did he win with Scotland? Hamiboy.

11.) 13 Jun 2019
13 Jun 2019 20:53:29
Grambo lad what did anyone win with Scotland? I'll take Sir Alex's judgement before yours I'm afraid.

12.) 13 Jun 2019
13 Jun 2019 20:55:01
What has anyone won with scotland grambo, poor argument mate.

13.) 13 Jun 2019
13 Jun 2019 21:10:54
Awe naw.

14.) 13 Jun 2019
13 Jun 2019 21:23:37
He won the kirin cup grambo! Get it up ye .

15.) 13 Jun 2019
13 Jun 2019 21:28:32
Grambo that has got to be the worst argument ever what has he won with Scotland that’s embarrassing reel yer heid in the boy was a class act.

16.) 13 Jun 2019
13 Jun 2019 22:39:31
If you think Darren Fletcher was a class act yous all need your heeds looked at lol. In a team full of class players made him look class all of us would look class in that Man Utd side no gona be hard. Soon as he’s down with average players he’s found out how good he is actually not. Anyway it’s Greg Stewart we are on about the guy deserves a chance and with better players and coaching staff around him it can only help him and us for the season. Maybe Stevie G will go for Fletcher and keep all the guys happy on here haha since he’s class .

17.) 14 Jun 2019
14 Jun 2019 00:40:03
What did he win with Scotland what kind of argument is that ?.

18.) 14 Jun 2019
14 Jun 2019 01:46:08
Well done for the forsight Grambo will sleep easier knowing you called the Stewart deal. And I'm sure Sir Alex had a differing opinion to you re Fletcher but who knows?

19.) 14 Jun 2019
14 Jun 2019 04:21:30
That mean messis rubbish because he's done **** all for argentine? Haha guys and there retarded opinions.

20.) 14 Jun 2019
14 Jun 2019 08:59:18
I used to watch that man United team and think how does Fletcher get a game, looked like the guy that won a chance to play with his heroes everytime I watched him. Same with Scotland, probably the most overrated player I've ever seen.

21.) 14 Jun 2019
14 Jun 2019 11:36:54
So now Messi is being compared to fletcher? all I suggested was give Greg Stewart a chance around better players and see what he can do. The same happened with fletcher around better players he was made to look good and some of yous say was a “class act” so maybe Greg Stewart will become a “class act” need to give the guy a chance and who knows what he will be like for us.

22.) 14 Jun 2019
14 Jun 2019 18:40:36
Don't think anyone compared Fletcher to Messi. Your argument was won hee haw with Scotland, Messi hasn't won anything of note with Argentina. Messi obviously one of the best ever so that disproves your argument. Does that make sense?

23.) 14 Jun 2019
14 Jun 2019 18:45:59
Sorry Grambo, take it all back, you know better than sir Alex and the 80,000 Man U fans that watched him every week.

Stick Messi in the Scotland team and see what he wins. Actually, don’t remember him winning the World Cup with Argentina - so is Messi shocking too?

24.) 14 Jun 2019
14 Jun 2019 22:25:30
Messi and fletcher shouldn’t be in the same argument end of! Fletcher is snickers, that’s the end of that and anyone says he was a class act should take a look at themselves. We would all look class acts in a Man Utd team that fletcher was in. Wouldn’t have him in any the rangers teams in the past or present because he wouldn’t be good enough!

25.) 15 Jun 2019
15 Jun 2019 01:06:50
Just following your logic, if you can call it that.

You say that A - being in that Man Utd team can make anyone look a class act? Wrong, there were plenty players, big name, big money players, who went there and struggled. So that theory is nonsense.

Crazy theory B - because he didn’t win anything with Scotland, that proves he is rubbish. Andy Robertson just won the champions league but I haven’t seen him winning medals with Scotland, is he rubbish?

Darren Fletcher spent the majority of his career playing for arguably the biggest club in the world, in the richest league in the world, in the champions league and has a cabinet full of medals. Bad players don’t do that.

26.) 15 Jun 2019
15 Jun 2019 01:08:44
Also, wouldn’t have him in any Rangers team past or present? So Fletcher at his peak, when he was starting for Man U in a champions league semi final, you wouldn’t have chucked him in to replace Terry Hurlock? Or Alex Rae? Or Gavin Rae? Or what about when we were rocking Ian Black in midfield? Comical mate.

27.) 15 Jun 2019
15 Jun 2019 07:58:21
Listen swagman Darren Fletcher is And was *hite me and you could of won what he did at Man Utd. And no I still wouldn't have him in any of my rangers team next you will be telling me he should of had been in instead of Gattuso. As a said the guy is and was *hite so pick your dummy up and get back into your pram. there's a good boy now.

28.) 15 Jun 2019
15 Jun 2019 13:32:13
Only one person spitting his dummy here and it’s the one everyone agrees is making no sense. Let’s clarify, a simple yes or no will do - you would rather have Ian Black in the Rangers midfield than Darren Fletcher?

29.) 15 Jun 2019
15 Jun 2019 16:08:26
My dummy is well and truly in I don’t think everyone agrees after all I have more agrees than you. The 2 of them are s**** and to pick a division 3 side is your best comeback lol. In his peak he wouldn’t even be in with a look in in this team just now. You have also told me Man Utd lost the champions league against Barcelona because he didn’t play? . Michael Carrick played and is by far a better player than fletcher ever was. Anyway back to the point give Stewart a chance because he is around better players and could do well for us in the end and he needs to prove he is worthy of playing for rangers. Good day swaggyboy have a pint the night enjoy yourself don’t go to bed thinking about Darren Fletcher and someone has disagreed with you on him.

30.) 15 Jun 2019
15 Jun 2019 16:31:44
Mind I said a simple yes or no? Would you rather have Ian Black than Darren Fletcher?

31.) 15 Jun 2019
15 Jun 2019 16:46:26
And aye a would and why? Because he wanted to come and play at rangers aye he definitely wasn’t great that’s for sure not at all but if you asked fletcher to come to rangers in division 3 what would he of said? Naw exactly! Even when we were winning everything back in the day if he wasn’t at Man Utd and was asked he still wouldn’t of came. I want players who want to play at rangers and Ian Black was one of them albeit not very good at all but he still came to play for us.
