we still need more players centre back a must. another midfielder don't understand docherty away and halliday still here. striker as well i like moralos but he is so frustrating to watch if only he was more prolific . we have to many players injured, if we qualify for europa league we are going to be stretched. london jock.

Halliday had a good game. He certainly wasn’t at fault the day and has done well of late but keep bashing him cause it makes you feel better!

Agree we need at least two players as suggested however today we dropped points primarily because of some poor defending and three bad substitutions.

I thought Hallidays time at Rangers was up but he's been very consistant under Stevie G and has merited his game time - If Morelos was more prolific, he'd be a real superstar but he does score goals and his work rate, hold up play and the way he pulls defenders all over the place are a real plus, hopefully he gets involved in less bother and improves his finishing a touch. Agree about needing more players though - i'd love us to get through on Thursday but it will stretch us i feel unless we add 2/ 3 more.

Mate Halliday didn’t put a foot wrong today, he had a great game against Killie and played well against Maribor. For me the game further slipped away from us when Halliday came off.

Gerrard has found a place for him in this team and I think folk should calm down about the result today, yes it’s disappointing but we’ve played a hell of a lot of games for the beginning of the season, everybody is now over analysing every area of the pitch.

Remember where we have come from in such a short space of time. We are a game away from the Europa League group stages.

Still a team building process, players gelling, manager trying new formations. It will take time but we have the makings of a team that is capable of winning the league or at the very least a cup.

Halliday had a really good game yesterday just typical fans looking for the scapegoat and Halliday fits the bill with them every time. We actually lost shape when Arfield came on for Halliday and i wouldn't be suprised, no disappointed, if he starts on Thursday.

I have never been a Halliday fan as most people will know but since Gerard's appointment he has been a totally different player and substituting him for Arfield basically gave Motherwell the midfield. Perhaps Gerard was worried because of the booking but Arfield had none of the tenacity that Halliday showed and his substitution along with the substitution of both Barisic and bringing on Wallace for the young lad cost us the game.

Halliday has been terrific yesterday and is currently head and shoulders above Docherty who is promising but a bit of a headless chicken. Along with Jack, Halliday is the most composed person in our midfield and can put in a tackle too. His only poor performances in a Rangers jersey were under appealing managers and surrounded by mediocre teammates. One of the best centre midfielders of all time clearly sees something in him, so probably best to trust him rather than whatever numpty is sitting next to you in the stands telling abuse between mouthfuls of pie.
