Alan Pardew. Sam Allerdyce. Frank De Boer. 3 available managers that would do a bit for us!

no de boer for me. would cost a fortune and failed at palace same way pedro failed with us. trying to force methods that didn't suit a team or league

Pardew for me but would be happy with allardyce

No padrew either. I remember him absolutely slating Scottish football on a couple of occasions whilst talking about Forster when he was Newcastle manager. That was a few years ago when the league was actually competitive as well.
Plus he only ever seems to get one good initial season from a team then fades and I think we now need someone long term,
Also his links to mike Ashley and I would recommend we stay well clear.
Much better options available.

Would maybe take Pardew? The guy is a better manager than Rodgers in my opinion.

Redknapp or Pardew for me

Seen somewhere else if Big Sam takes another club job before Jan 2019 he is due Palace £2 million quid. Not sure how true but could scunner any chance before we even get to ask the question.

Of the 3 you mention I'd take Allerdyce all day, the players would be playing for the jersey with him in charge. Whoever takes over I wish them all the best and they must be given time. Yet to see a club who change managers a lot get success.

You actually think these guys would come to us? We've just pished £10m+ up against the wall over the last 8 months. Where would the money come from to allow us to.

a) Pay the wages for these managers and their back room staff
b) Pay for the players they would inevitably want.

That's before you even ask yourself "Why would they want to come". let's face it, we are somewhat of a poisoned chalice at the moment. Who would want to touch us, other than the likes of Billy Davies and Alex Mcliesh

At least Brenda was enjoying his severance from Liverpool, + a huge wage from Celtic on a rolling contract + he was joining the league champions with a chance of getting into the Champions League groups. He couldn't lose, and he literally hasn't domestically.

What could this club possibly offer these names other than the fans loyal support to the club. The Rangers fans backed Pedro and Warburton, two unknown, untested managers, home and Away, travelling up and down the country for what? To be ridiculed last season and to be Papped out the cup by essentially a Sunday league amateur team at the weekend and then that farce last night which might I add, is the most brutal thing I have seen at Ibrox in all my years, including Egil Østenstad.

Our problem is much bigger than just picking a manager from the list quoted guys.

So, the Rangers board have their most important decision to make in the clubs history, they must not take it lightly and they must think about one thing and one thing only. Stopping Celtic, not catching them, not sneaking a draw occasionally, they must stop them, and stop them winning 10 in a row, because that is the sh*t that sticks. its that simple. Not a aggregated plan over 2, 3, or 4 years. It must be done now. They have to invest heavily, without expecting anything in return because that's what the fans have done for the past 5 going on 6 years and the other 140 years before that.

Anyone bar Davies or Mcinnes
The job is way too big for either

I think we are going to end up with billy davies on a deal till the end off the season and this will result in us finishing 4th he's a shocking manager

Sad too see Pedro go guy never got a good enough chance in my eyes but time too move on

I don't see anyone available out there that will do any better hope I'm proven wrong but because the one thing I want is just for the team too move forward with some stability

Rik I don't think I've ever read a more contradictory post ever. You start by saying we can't get a manager and we have wasted £10 million. End by saying we must get a top manager and invest. I would not mind betting if Morelos keeps playing as he has he alone may be worth the 10m.
I agree its a poisoned chalice atm but we have to keep believing or what's the alternative?

Has to be McLeish surely, unless DoF has someone in mind.

Alan pardew no way on earth is he a rangers manager, it can only be eck. Here we go bears finally we will get back on track.

Chris Coleman ., Alan Pardew or Neil Warnock for me

Mcinnes. Easy

Big Sam for me but needs to get rid of pedros duds and get Monday in jan that is a must

20.) 26 Oct 2017
26 Oct 2017 18:35:11
Has to be Walter for the remainder of the season. He is the only man we can trust and has club interest at heart. He has nothing to prove and will steady the ship.

21.) 26 Oct 2017
26 Oct 2017 18:45:13
I would ask Walter to take over for the rest of the season then go for Michael O'neil, don't want eck back and billy Davies no thanks

22.) 26 Oct 2017
26 Oct 2017 18:58:16
If Morelos keeps playing the way he has he'll be worth 10 pence not 10 million.

First post fellow bears . anybody else in my eyes bar mcinnes is a gamble as we’re doing 2 things . taking the sheeps manager from them and giving them our problem and do we have the money to take the gamble and go for Big Sam, Pardew or guys of that calibre? . They command good pays, very good budgets and the chance the might not come due to the state were in financialy and squad wise and incase they harm they're profile/ reputation, hence mcinnes is a safe bet . to get some stability back and cement 2nd place and a chance to build a decent squad . I’d love Big Sam but we can’t afford him at the moment, back to basics guys and just had a text that Patrick viera is interested as he’s mark Allan’s mate . to much of a gamble

o’neill or coleman what a load of rubbish great what they've done in international football but their both countries that have zero pressure from the fans totally different set up with us the fans are fed up of watching dross the new man nds to hit the ground running our clubs success advocaat aside has bn built on proper british hard graft allardyce or neil warnock for me both no nonsense managers and are thick skinned enough to not be bothered by the constant celtic minded pundits in scottish taking pops at our club every chance they get massive decision for the board they've ballsed it up twice now hopefully the DOF will have some input this time who ever it is needs to bring back the NO LIKES US WE don't CARE attitude to the club because scottish teams are more interested in keeping us down than trying to beat the rats

Blue Pete. I understand what your saying, but, I am talking in general terms of investment into the squad, not blowing your whack just to get a name in to try and appease the fans. I mean investment by bringing in the quality of player to beat Celtic. I don't care if you think i am contradicting myself when I say the names quoted are out with out price range. THEY ARE BY THE WAY, but we are in Dire Straits and its bigger than just bringing in a manager with a name as I fear no one man alone can fix this with the squad we have.

The board needs to show the fans that have supported this team through its darkest days in its history, by supporting the next manager be it Murty, McInnes, or whoever by building a team that doesn't just try to "Compete" but Beats Celtic. We have guys that have the money, that have sat in the shadows for the past 5 years that must band together and Take the Hit, and get this club back to where it should be.
