They must have been laughing into there champagne when we signed the deal for 1.8million for him it makes the lafferty for 3million deal look shrewed.

Paying £3m for Lafferty is right up there with the worst deals we have ever done. Garner has not been here long enough to be in the Lafferty category and thankfully he doesn't get us unwanted front page headlines that Lafferty did.

Whether Garner could be a success with a quality midfield and a fast striker alongside him I don't know but Lafferty was in a better side and was a total disaster.
