Reports from down south are that leacock mcleod will be a rangers player by the end of the window. Anyone know much about this rumour?

I think Keith Jackson tweeted that he was not being brought in for the first team although I don't know much about him.

Yeah not for the 1st team. Means MOH is still on the cards! Fingers Crossed.

Won't be surprised if we sign no one. Warburton will probably leave at the end of the season if king doesn't back him which he isn't doing. Another bunch of false promises by another board.

So you've been reading Boyds piece in the Record, mark?
That is borne of sheer bitterness because King rightly said Boyd and others were a disgrace last season.

Mark you are a funny guy. Warburton didn't have a lot to spend at Brentford either. he enjoys a task, he likes the idea of finding hidden gems, he's not a big spender.

Maybe King told Warburton the true financial details of the club and what he will have available to spend. I think that money will be available to spend in the summer should we get promoted.

King did say that money would be available this transfer window, that now doesn't seem to be the case.

or maybe teams are just wanting more than we are willing to pay?
I noticed Gary McAllister said Rangers will regret losing out on Diagouraga as he's a 'star of the future'. he's 28 years old and just moved from Brentford to Leeds?!?!?!
Was he worth what Brentford were wanting?

Warburton said himself that over the summer, with the exception of Scott Allan, he had gotten everyone we went for. We didn't spend a lot but he identified his targets within the budget he was promised and the club made it happen.

It makes no sense at all for him to have spent months planning for this market unless this is the sort of money he was promised. We are hardly going for superstars. He identified his top 2 targets this window and both are rather modest and so far we have missed out on one and are embarrassing ourself on the other.

Don't get me wrong, this is the most I have enjoyed being a rangers fan for many a year and it's possibly the amount of S***e we have been though over the last few years that has clouded my judgement. But the board needs to back the manager. Warburton has been a breath of fresh air since he has arrived and the thought of him leaving due to lack of backing fills me with dread.

I agree Dunc. It would be a disaster if he left the club and you are also right with the MW philosophy which must be based on principles of having an eye for a player and a bargain. It's all about managing a lean, hungry squad and developing young players like Barrie McKay who now has the potential to earn the club serious money if he moves on to the EPL or wherever. If we can hold onto MW for at least 3 seasons I think the foundations will be there for another bright young manager to take over.

Tounami rumored to be up to 600K with add ons. We got one coming for 30K in the summer. Seems a better deal.

Let's see if MOH arrives. He is wanted, would make a difference and has a massive opportunity to develop under Warburton. He wouldn't cost a lot either.

People seem to be forgetting the promises made by King, presumably because they see him as some sort of saviour. Sorry but I don't see him as much different from other 'bullshitters like Murray right now that never spent a penny of their own money but promised the earth.

I will start trusting him when I see the £30m invested and we have proof that it is his money and not everyone else investment or the clubs own funds.

How much have we spent recently? Two new players this window already, some given new extended contracts, the other two from Accrington on the way. And how much has gone into sorting the backroom staff and coaching side of things? Seems like we are seeing investment. Maybe not what we expected, but it is there.
