Lads, W&W would not have achieved what they have if all the clowns were still in the boardroom. Fact

The quality of players we have now would never have came to ibrox if the clowns were still in the boardroom. Fact.

Read the news, the clowns are for the jail. Even if mccoist wanted a scouting system or the quality players mentioned above, the clowns would have laughed at him. I'm not saying mccoist is blameless entirely, but the man was on a hiding to nothing from the start.

He can't do it all eg. Reshaping the footballing side of the club from top to bottom the way w&w have without support from the board. If king was in charge, would mccoist have had better chance? I would think so. Also pre-admin, mccoist had rangers 15 points infront of celtic. So there was something there. What type of quality player would we have signed that would play in the 3rd, 2nd div?

A lot of the young players got battered when they played. I also think morale at ibrox was so low that motivation was difficult for anyone to lift. Remember we were given 5 loan players we had no say in. So i think that proves that mccoist, mcdowel did not have full control of footballing matters. Therefore a scouting system etc. was never going to happen.

The clowns wanted us back in the spl/europe asap so they could bleed us dry. Allys remit from the board was make it happen quick hence the hurried spl player signings. That will keep the fans happy whilst we pull the wool over their eyes thought the board.

Mccoist go and scout players himself? And who would finance that? the board, don't make me laugh. John greig was banned from ibrox, walter smith left the board after a month or so, was that all mccoist's fault? Mccoist wanted all the things that w&w have. Of course he did. He had no chance from the start.

Lets all move on from thus stuff, bottom line is until McCoist releases his book on his time as manager we can speculate all we want. You can be sure that when the cash is on the table and not before, he will tell all.

He give away a 15 point lead with quality players when in the spl! He got knocked out of every competition we where in with a quality team at his disposal. His tactics, his training his coaching where all abysmal that was nothing to do with the spivs in the board room unless Whyte. Green and the easdales where taking the training sessions. Your defence of Mccoist is laughable. I'll repeat what I said yesterday he has only come to an agreement so he can start a new job and no matter how many times you try and defend him that's a fact!

as much as i now despise macoist over the greedy shambolic way he ran rangers and as much i understand why billy would not want to go back to ibrox if macoist retuns because i stayed away until he was sacked its now time to forget him and move on some people still think he is a ledgend that's their chioce which they are entitled to so let's move on and forget him

Hooly78. If you can't see that all the off field problems had a major impact on the footballing side then you are laughable, he lost a 15 point lead?? Seriously? The club went into admin and the players and staff took a 75% pay cut. You think that might have had something to do with it, affected moral?? I'm sure if you had to take a massive pay cut your head would be down. I have stated twice that mccoist is not entirely blameless, 3rd time now😩.

I am simply saying if he had the backing of an honest, stable board things might not have been so bad. he tried his best to keep the club together when we were in ruins and should be respected for that. Finally, whether he has a new job or not its his money! Would you work for free? Just stating valid points to consider before you hang the man out to dry. Yes he wasn't the best manager but to never welcome the man back to ibrox, nonsense.

Coldo?

You mirror my sentiments exactly. Ally was not without fault but he is being treated like the last man in the team who let's the ball in the net and ALL the blame lies with him.

Ally had to stand alone when things went belly up once, twice and three times.

Those who convict him without the full evidence are blind. We cannot fully judge him until all the facts are known, especially those that went on behind the scenes. What went on during Ally's tenure was both laughable, shocking and so very sad. It is something that rarely happens in football, but when it does the football goes out the window. When ceptic were getting robbed by the kelly's and the whites, prior to the caravan salesman turning up, ceptic could not string a pass - Ally had three years of that.

So I for one will cut him a bit of slack until I know all the facts. Rangers fans should not be too quick to judge - that is what ceptics do.

6 out of 6 - fantastic!!

I never once said he shouldn't be allowed back to ibrox! He had the backing of the board he had the 2nd highest wage bill in Scotland. And bought nothing but garbage he never improved 1 player he brought in that's nothing to do with the boardroom. I could understand him taking money of the previous board but he should of waived his entitled when the new board come in but he took his 300.000 wages I can't forgive that. I certainly wouldn't be grudge him being allowed to ibrox as a fan but under no circumstances would I welcome him being an employee of the club again. But coldo were never going to agree.

I totally agree, we were going smoothly with a 15 point lead, who knows what may have happened, I have never gone along with all this anti McCoist stuff.

ALLY, i'm afraid was out his depth in football management..... he became greedy and blind to the facts becoming a YES man along the way.
Our present manager makes Ally look like what he really was,,,,,,,,, useless.
We are playing the best football we have seen in years and Mcoist must look on in envy altho I have a feeling that he will be blaming everything and anything for his mis management and lack ability.

Tactically naive, poor training methods and all in all not a very good manager are things that I could throw at ally. We all know he wasn't a very good manager. But all in all could anyone have successfully managed our club with the shambles that it was. I strongly believe Walter smith seen what was happening and even he walked away.

No investment in youth policy, our great stadium being neglected left right and centre, no scouting network, the front page headlines every day are just some of the contributory factors that would have made the task of keeping morale high almost impossible. Especially for an inexperienced and untried manager. Ally certainly wasn't management material but he gave it his best shot and I for one will never hold his manager stint against him. The guy has given me too many happy moments in my life to do that

Just remember people as u's are criticising the guy, you's are also slating the 4th inaugural member of the Rangers hall of fame. That for me says it all. Some people either have short memories or they are just simply ungrateful.
