Agree- hibs want to win championship, and sadly I think with current squads they will. Selling Allan could cost them that and several million pounds that come with promotion, it would be crazy for them to sell unless player demands move. And he hasn't.

Steve may would be a decent addition and is in a different class to what we have at moment. Although my cousin went to school with him and is adamant may will reject the move, determined to prove himself in England.

Are you on the hibs board gardner?. no,so if hibs get the money they are after believe me,he will indeed be on the move!!

Scott Alan will go where the most money is, if the right money is offered he will leave Hibs. If you believe anything else, that is up to you. Money talks.

Clearly Gardiner1965 is a Hibs man - all over the Hibs site -

But even he must be wondering why Hibs are bolstering their midfield with new signings?

Beside Hibs board have a reputation of "selling the family silver"

If Scott Allan was going to just go where the money is why didn't he sign for rangers last year when they wanted him? Instead of rejecting us to sign for hibs.

Allan should have been a priority signing after seeing first hand what he could do last season

There was never a deal on the table in the 1st place to reject us. my gut is we're going to wait til Jan but if someone comes in for him for the right money then he's off. Hibs are not in a position to knockback big bucks especially as there a championship side and he's a player that's free to talk to clubs in Jan

Scott Allen didn't reject Rangers, Mcoist didn't rate him so he wasn't offered a deal.

I know one of Stevie Mays pals who told him that he has heard of rangers interest yesterday but nothing more than that. His preference would be to stay and fight for his place at Sheffield but he might be forced out on loan for a year.

I hope he comes to us though.

I saw May a few times when he was at Hamilton Accies. They were in the league we'e now in at the time and he scored goals for fun. Wee bit pace over 5-10 yards which is what a striker needs. Good acquisition for maybe two seasons then we'll need something better.

Stevie May was not include in Sheffield Wednesdays 25 man squad for todays game against York

Promotion is worth a lot more to Hibs than 400-500k, they may sell Allan for that kind of money but not to us. No chance, it would be absolutely crazy for them to sell star player to main rival.

It doesn't look like May wants to come, even if his club would like shot of him. Would do well if he can be swayed.

I'll be honest, not a massive fan of McCoists management "skills" but I think the reason he never made a move for Allan is because he wanted Macleod to develop in that role, which was a good decision. However, if that's the case then don't sell him at the first opportunity!!
