My cousin who's very friendly with an ex rangers player has told him that ex Falkirk, hibs, Livingston & Hartlepool manager big John ( yogi ) Hughes is going to rangers as our new youth coach, big yogi will be coaching at Murray park with the rangers youths, mccoist rates big yogi Hughes very highly and is also very friendly with Hughes, big yogi is a good coach and very good at bringing youth through, he'll be a good appointment for our backroom team

Surely if we are to move forward as a team, we should be looking at coaches who have a decent grasp of the English language who can communicate with our players.
That would rule Hugh's out as his 1st language is gibberish and his 2nd language is a kinda the duh the da the sort of English come morse code hybrid.

We could certainly do with freshening up the coaching staff but I don't see Hughes as an option.

Purely on coaching capability and intellect. no thanks. Our coaching capability is poor as it is so this would be a huge backwards step.

Dounebear, I don't disagree that we could do with fresh ideas but surely not Hughes. If Rangers and McCoist have ambitions to develop then we should be looking at someone with a better pedigree than Hughes.
