Surely we can get better than a 38 year old free agent. With only 2 recognised centre halves it’s likely another centre half will play a large part of the season and a 38 year old isn’t the answer. Not so long ago we were trying to get a young player from Millwall for £3m.

There are plenty that do though and i can’t imagine it would be that difficult to find a younger centre half.

Personally I think we need 2 centre halfs as cover. I'm sure aidam Wilson is out on loan and the other young boy Bradley looks a bit raw just now for the first team.

We only need the big guy for cover, so much experience, young guys could learn from him at training.
